They were one of the greatest male and female duets in R&B with great songs. You could and now feel the chemistry between them! It's a shame such a good thing ended for the reasons we've been told. There by are two sides to every story. Rene was also a great talent and deserved greater recognition. I pray over the years they're at peace with each other after so many years.

@@teddybrukshot1801 ok Teddy, note: I said One Of the greatest male and female duets and of course there were other great singers blending their voices - Roberta Flack and Donnie Hathaway, Peaches and Herb, Sonny and Cher 🤣. Marvin Gaye and Tammy Terrell, to name a few of who I can recall this sec. There are few that have an excellent ear for harmonizing and u never forget their voice, love songs and CHARISMA.

in 1983, it was real hard for other artist to get HITS. with Michael Jackson's THRILLER album, and singles dominating the airwaves/charts...I heard that other record labels were putting there artist music on hold, waiting for that Thriller album to cool off...the album stayed at #1. 37 weeks in a row.
