Women instrumentalists in jazz never get the recognition they deserve and Renee Rosnes is a prime example. If there's a better jazz pianist to have emerged in the last thirty years I've yet to hear them.

Of Rosnes is a very fine pianist but there was Geri Allen-and there's a whole new crop of pianists that have come on the scene since Rosnes became known...think about it... 9-9-24.

She was part of Joe Henderson Quartet in the 80s (with Kim Clarke on bass), I've listened her playing with Joe on one of his best tune "Y Todavia La Quiero" ("Ya La Quiero"), it's on KZbin.

Recordame is such a lovely and sticky bossa beat rythm! Played in a delightful way by Miss Renee Rosnes, who happens to be Bill Charlap s wife another fine and delicate pianist!! リコーダ・ミーはジョー・ヘンダーソンの「ページ・ワン」マッコイ・ターナーを迎えた「ニューヨーク・リユニオン」を直ぐ思い出すが、レニー・ロスネスのこのトリオの演奏も楽しい。 ルイス・ナッシュのキレの良いシャープなドラミングも素晴らしい。 レニーは「フォー・ザ・モーメント」でもジョー・ヘンダーソンと一緒で、ジョーから大きな影響を受けている。 88年のマウント・フジ・ジャズ祭でも彼のグループに入っていた。

Very nice playing. However, some obvious copy and paste happened in the studio (compare the piano solo starting at 2:11 with that at 7:47). It is note for note until the end of that section.
