Wow, those are actually really helpful! I've been thinking about coice training for so long now, but even when I think nobody can hear me I still just dont have the comfort Id want to truly focus on the practice instead of looking ober my shoulder at the door every 5 seconds in case somebody bursted in. Also on a technical note, I like the editing and visuals in the video, Im no expert, but it looks so professional, and males it easier to follow in my opinion. Great video!

i do am trying to work on a lot of the things you suggested for lying, but I've also been thinking about how to masculanize my voice so this is great, also because it reminded me that there are little things i can do even when i have little privacy or little time, thank you :D

Sounds like you're already engaged in a voice practice which is half the battle!

I think tons of people start doing this sort of practice discreetly. I know i did! It helps to feel any semblance of control when youre transitioning or starting trans voice work. We just gotta do what we can to take those first steps and start pushing the rock down the hill!

Well done Renee, I have been doing TransVoiceLessons with Zheanna Erose’s videos for over an year, your video compliments hers, it’s saying that we are learning to sing sweetly or for acting parts❤ Lol from Petra (Peter is my birth name) I identify as NB or Gender-Fluid❤

How do I do the yawning without having my jaw lock?
@reneeyoxon14 сағат бұрын
Try keeping your jaw only lightly open and yawning more with the muscles in the back of the throat. You can practice this with your mouth closed (think about suppressing a yawn) so that you’re not over stretching the TMJ.

Do you have a video that's just the VERY BASICS? I'm a complete beginner looking for a more masc voice.

For now I would start with my 101 series here: www.reneeyoxon.com/blog?tag=gender-affirming+voice+101 In the next few weeks I’ll be releasing a free hour long webinar for beginners. I can circle back to this comment and let you know when it’s out! Also I have this pretty cheap option if you don’t want to wait: reneeyoxon.thrivecart.com/trans-voice-basics/

@@reneeyoxon ok thanks! I unfortunately can't buy the class, it's not about money, I'm a minor (not out) and I rely on my parents to buy me such things or lend me money. I can't really ask them to do that without explaining why I need it
@reneeyoxonКүн бұрын
I totally understand! Then I would definitely get yourself on my scholarship list because you could one of my courses for free that way. But I'll let you know when my webinar comes out and also check out my website because there are tons of free resources there.

Why tf did I get recommended this
@reneeyoxon14 сағат бұрын
When you comment on videos it tells the KZbin algorithm that you are interested in seeing more things like this. You can tweak your recommendations by clicking on the three dots next to a video and clicking “not interested” or “don’t recommend channel” - just a tip! Have a nice day!

Very kind of you. Also didn't mean to come off rude, as this is definitely an informative video for people who need it. I was just surprised because I'm a conservative. Have a great day and thank you for the tip.
