SPOILER...... Actually, it is NOT just that: There is much more behind the Renegade MC's behavior than what appears at first glance. Apparently he seems to be in direct "contact" with the Paragon versions of Melia and the MC, via Zeight (which allows the MC to access the data of other versions of himself from other realities, as revealed in the files left by Adrest), and it was he who provided them with the Red Chain (again via Zeight) that they will use in Paragon, to seal Tiempa. Furthermore, the magic itself used by the Renegade MC (End of Night), is actually created by Melia in the Paragon Route (after the gauntlet against the virtual simulations of your companions in Zeight) and was probably transferred to the Renegade's MC, in the same way he transferred the Red Chain into the Paragon reality. Furthermore, this "connection" is further confirmed by his dialogue with M2 at the end of Karma Files, where after declaring that he firmly intends to erase everything in the world, including himself, to M2's question on how all this should benefit him, he will solemnly reply "I gain nothing! They gain everything!" clearly referring to the MC and Melia of the Paragon reality. At the moment it is not yet clear what is behind all this or what the complete story is, but everything seems to be connected in some way to Melia and the MC's plan in Paragon, the full extent of which we still do not know (right now, we only know that part of the plan included having to capture Tiempa via the Red Chain, but WHY it was necessary to create her in a parallel reality, by an alternative MC, is still unknown). Alternatively, it could also be possible that the Rengade MC is genuinely malevolent, and that his collaboration with his Paragon counterpart is solely for "business" purposes: Melia and the Paragon MC need his help to build a Red Chain and the Renegade MC needs a "way" to destroy his reality, in the most efficient and least risky way possible. As a result, the two parties will "agree", with Melia and the Paragon MC creating End of Night for the Renegade MC (a spell capable of completely eradicating someone from existence, including their memory from the minds of others, which allows the Renegade MC to be able to kill someone effortlessly and without the risk of someone noticing the absence of the deleted characters, thus allowing him to carry out "perfect murders", without any risk of being discovered.....and therefore without the actual need that M2 "assists" him, erasing the memories of the witnesses, as he himself will point out to her, at the end of Karma Files) and as a counterpart, the Renegade MC goes to hunt down Uxie, Azelf and Mesprit, to obtain the necessary Red Gems to create a Red Chain for them (so that Melia and the Paragon MC can carry out the same plan as them, in their reality).

Well given another NPC in Reborn does this to everyone they kill. Its an insult to the dead

15:50 Not the player casually showing off the Obliteration Spell. How did they even get it in without Melia's intervention (the first one - not M2)? Normally, they would get it in Paragon route from Melia. But now... Fr tho, what is stopping them from using it indefinitely? Is there even a limit or a cooldown to this ability?

I think the time lines are a bit together so I think if I recall the MC in the Paragon route is the the renegade future version so in paragon we learned that spell and somehow our other version learns it

basically it works both way when we forcefully summon the lake trios in renegade to murder them and make the red chain they then pass it to us in paragon and also justify why the lake trios appear in paragon without any expalanation

Ive been trying to piece together the timeline of events between the two routes, but it doesnt line up on when end of night is obtained, since in paragon, end of night is made on the 13th but the first use of it is renegade's 8th. Although it COULD be an oversight since this event is TECHNICALLY optional because you can kill karrina much earlier for some bad end points and thus it never happens, since the first use would then be on don carto and florin/talon on the 16th

​​@@drazilspiritsDamn good thinking! I'm still confused as to why the MC in Paragon would help the MC in Renegade. That's why he sent him the red chain. It was to help him, right?

I’m confused, I thought Karen and Karrina were supposed to be dead in the Renegade Route. Killing them in that sidequest lowers your karma points a lot and helps you to “unlock” the Renegade route. Why are they still alive?

It's not required for them to be dead to get enough points for Renegade, if you did kill karrina this episode doesn't happen and you don't get diancie

I do wonder…. Will a new hero rise to stop the player and m2? Or obviously fail?
