Ruby is great, destined for great things - only 18, so her whole life in front of her, and I'm excited as to what we're going to hear from her in the future. Saw her at SGP and it was a travesty that she attracted such a small crowd there as she and her band put on a great show. The Old Brown Jug, where she first played, brings back some memories (not all good!). It's only a few miles from where I live and is now just known as 'The Jug'. It's still a live venue (one of very few in the local area) but the locals would strongly object to it being labelled as 'in Stoke', as its actually in a neighbouring town, Newcastle under Lyme. An easy mistake for an 'outsider' travelling the massive distance (of 16 miles) from Stafford!
