This coaster was so fast and smooth when it first opened. Rode it last week and it was downright shaky and painful. Would not ride again until I hear they've done something to smooth it out. Reminds me of how rough Son of Beast became.

I went on it for the first time with my cousin and I was TERRIFIED! But I would go on it again cause I'll be "more prepared!" Well my cousin will too she's a few months younger than me! The corcscrew is fun to! I am really glad we went on it!

This video does nothing for the ride, except make it look less intense than it actually is :P Part of the awesomeness is how hard it shakes and throws you around, and just how freaking loud it is. The first time I went on this, my breathe was taken away it was so fast.

Have you ever been on Rip Ride Rockit at Universal? That ride is FANTASTIC. You want fun and fast, that's the ride for you. On top of all it's amazingness just due to speed and course, you get to rock out to different rock n roll songs, I listened to Kickstart My Heart by the Crüe, it was amazing.

I went on this ride as well. It's a lot faster than you would think it would be for it being a wooden roller coaster. I think it's one of my favorite roller coasters at Valleyfair. I'm actually going again in a few weeks and taking my nieces for the first time. It will also be their first time going on a roller coaster. Haha this should be fun!

I suggest you try riding the bullet at Kemah!!! That ride is amazing as long as you DO NOT ride in the back!!!!! The back hurts but the front is just AMAZING!!!!! How many ppl on here like the bullet or ever been on it?????

Usually, when I enter the park, I go on the corkscrew first, cause ya it's slow and easy to handle, then ur confident and u see this and ur like, piece of cake, the other had loops! And when u get on it, ur like HOLY SH*T!!!!!!

I have heard that Cedar Point is known for having the many great roller coasters. Valley Fair will never have that because it is size and height limited. It sits between a highway and a river, really no more space to expand the park and it is also near a airport and there are height restrictions in place. I work across the street from there and I live 15 minutes away, go there every weekend on my season pass. Always hit all the coasters except the High Roller, that one is a waste of time.

I have a story for this one, It was october 29th last year, my freind, he is a 6th grader, wanted to come to valleyscare with us, so we let him. He didn't ride many of the rides we rode. Skipped out on wildthing, wen't in two haunted houses. But my best friend tricked the 6th grader saying this one has a drop but its only like 10 feet and its more of a wild mouse coaster then anything... And right at the first drop : we were in the front car.. my friend said Dylan.. I lied X[)

Corkscrew is fun but it is lame. Renegade is probably the best coaster at Valley Fair. Wild thing was OK when it was new, it still has the biggest drops and highest speeds of any coaster at Valley Fair but it does not compare to the Renegade. Only thing I do not like about Renegade is that it has a VERY ROUGH ride to it, it really rattles you while the Wild Thing is pretty smooth on it's tracks. For me, my fav coaster is the Steel Venom, I love that speed when it takes off.

When watching this video... It doesn't look like it's going that fast. But, it is the fastest coaster at Valley Fair. This thing is so fast, it jerks you around like crazy, and it hurts. Where is the ton of extra space? It is wedged between a highway and the MN river. Wildlife/recreation zone all around it. i suppose they could make a new parking lot out to where the employees live in that ugly building that looks like a prison dorm and then put more rides where the current lot is, but even so there is a airport across the river in Eden Prairie and there is a 275 foot height restriction in place. With that in mind Valley Fair will never touch Cedar Point.
