We enjoyed it greatly. Also, I was originally under the impression that it was posted on KZbin and we recorded the video as such, plus given TFS history with strikes on KZbin I had assumed the worst. It wasn't until later that I discovered my error. Oh well, you live and you learn.

17:35-17:50 *EXACTLY!!!* It made no sense for King Vegeta to kill such a powerful Saiyan baby when it would've been an extremely valuable asset. Especially when you consider that a powerful Saiyan like Broly could one day help destroy Freeza. Not to mention that Paragus is obviously loyal to King Vegeta. All you'd have to do is indoctrinate the baby to be loyal to King Vegeta (even more loyal to him than his father) and lavish the father with honorifics. Sure there'd always be the fear that Broly's father could get Broly to overthrow him, but just keep tabs on him (it shouldn't be hard for a king to have spies). Hell, keep Paragus close to you (friends close, enemies closer) so you can keep an eye on him yourself. Also, don't tell me that its b/c King Vegeta was SCARED of Freeza. Bull, it'd be easy pretend to kill the baby, take it off-world, and have it trained to be an elite Saiyan champion loyal to King Vegeta as previously mentioned. Then have it come back and destroy Freeza. Now you got a nearly all-powerful warrior who is fiercely loyal to you and you could use to overthrow King Cold. Now you have a loyal warrior who is nearly unstoppable AND a new Empire!

Dude you're trying to impose logic on a two-bit anime movie that's only famous because it's main antagonist looks cool and is a badass fighter. I'll eat my trucker hat if I find out they spent more than five minutes on writing the entire movie. The whole story is written so poorly it sounds like it was done by a kindergartener.

Eh, as the newer Broly movie points out. The King was kinda right. Broly seems great as a counter on paper, but considering he loses his sanity in that form, and goes on a rampage, he probably would have ended up killing Freeza, and then killed all of the Saiyan''s, before taking off to continue his destructive path. Had Freeza not eradicated the Saiyan's at this point in time.

Renegades the color transitions that he was talking about wasn't done by the editor, the whole scene with Broly transforming was that way in the original movie, his power radiated outward changing the colors of the area around him.

In the Super anime as well, Pilaf didn't know that the Dragon Balls granted more than one wish, so even if it's not exactly like the manga, he still had to have made the wish sometime before Kami fused with Piccolo, which would mean Pilaf would be a baby at this point.
