The funny thing is they only used Base Excalibur. There is still Excalibur Prime and Excalibur Umbra who is even better than prime and has a mind of his own and a history which would have added even more experience as Umbra was pretty much a war hero before becoming a Warframe. Hell Umbra in the quest he was introduced showed a better speed feet. Our Tenno and Umbra were separated as our Tenno was about to be shot by several lasers at an even closer range then Excalibur was to that one guy that shot the laser at him. Umbra was able to jump to the Tenno grab him and jump to safety before the Tenno could be shot. He also has his own katana made from his flesh that is way stronger than Excaliburs Skana. They also actually got the thing about the Tenno going away wrong. They were not hiding from the Orokin. Quite the opposite. They were so pissed off for how the Orokin treated them as well as killing their first adoptive mother as the Lotus is mom number 2 actually. THEY WIPED OUT THE ENTIRE OROKIN EMPIRE! A empire which mind you controlled the entire Solar system. They left because there was nothing left for them to do. They caused the downfall of a entire race! Raiden had no chance. Also I got a little over 2,000 hours in Warframe

For anyone that thinks scaling Excalibro to Atlas' strength is dubious, let me put it another way. Even if Atlas were 100 000× stronger than Excal (which he isn't. He is the physically strongest Warframe and he does outclass his fellows, but not by that crazy of a margin) Excal would still be 4× stronger than Raiden.

Thing is that each warframe uses void energy in different ways, atlus might as well be able to overclock its batteries just to pull a feat strength of that magnitude. Oratlas isable to do said feats because of how it handles the tenos powers unlike excalibur. Or do you want to say that excalibur is just as fast as gauss even though gauss is a frame explicitly designed for speed.

You should check out the Death Battle Commentary they did about the Excal vs Raiden fight. I guess even DE's staff were surprised with Excalibur winning and several of their staff were like "Couldn't Raiden do X or Y?" It sounds like the DE Staff just wanted a really good fight and left who the fight would be against to the DB staff.

Let's not even mention mods, you can basically already do damage with a standard warframe or weapon of your choosing but with mods. You can kit out for any situation, or just make a weapon stupid broken.... And don't get me started with prime versions of some warframes and the weapons.....those things are on a whole other level......

Warframe will never be "finished." It is a live service game. Expecting it to be anything like a typical game you purchase and play is bound to disappoint you. I simply look at it as an online sandbox with plenty of ways to become strong. I don't follow the "metas" because they are boring. I find my own ways to be powerful in the game and it can be remarkably satistfying. I can understand why you'd get out of the game. I've left the game multiple times before but I've always come back.

The only part that annoys me about this fight is that Excalibur isn't really a _character._ The Warframes _were_ once human, but they're weapons, controlled like puppets. The Umbra variant of Excalibur is the only frame that is canonically sapient. But it makes sense if, since this is a sponsored episode, DE wanted the true poster boy to be in the thumbnail over the one you unlock 10 or so hours in

Its not that they stacked the odds against Raiden, Raiden was chosen because he fit the theme and there was no way for him to win. Almost any frame would've clapped his cheeks, frames like Ash, Mag and Vauban would have curb stomped him regardless of weapons, let alone mods, rivens, the Helminth system or the Operators themselves which can just unleash fuck-off beams of void energy, insta-warp and stun-lock enemies or simply switch to another frame. As for weapons, they had Excalibur just throw the Glaive but if it was detonated before Raiden ever got close enough to cut it it would have taken out a chunk of him, any weapon that detonated on impact would mess Raiden up big time, especially infected weapons like the Bubonico that doesn't have detonation mechanism and just needs contact. They didn't even go with Excalibur Umbra which was the strongest variant and the lore version is so stupidly OP it isn't even funny. Haven't player either games in months but even if they nerfed every frame to shit I can't really see any way for Raiden to win.

the WF Limbo could just stop Raiden in his tracks because of Cataclysm and Stasis. While he is stopped Limbo could just kill without trouble. Hell, Limbo could just jump to his pocket dimension to have a cup of tea and watch Raiden struggle and wonder why he isn't landing hits. If you remember Hulk vs Broly or Optimus vs Gundam, both songs were custom made for Death Battle. I think the Optimus one was called Wings of Iron, while Broly and Hulk’s was called Ikari. Then there was Draconic Robotics (Kiryu vs Tommy), Mighty (Might Guy and All Might) and Ego Death (Magneto vs Akira). They’ve been having custom songs made for at least 4 years now, probably longer, though I couldn’t say for sure when it started.

Tbh, this was very one-sided. Even disregarding the sponsore cause I'm sure it wouldn't affect the outcome in the end anyways. To put into context for warframes, they're pretty much a universe threat being immortal if anything. A single frame can take over a planet if it wanted too. The only thing helping Raiden is him being a cyborg and that's it tbh, even his sword imo would do so much but also put a warframe out of commission(still wouldn't mean much). They'll come back, eventually to keep it short. Operators and Prime/Umbra variants though, are another story for major OP space magic and what-not

@Ayforrealthatlit Yeah, no. Inaros is canonically weaker than Excalibur in any non-desert environment, but was literally worshiped as a god. If they wanted to give Raiden a chance they would have had him fight Yareli, who canonically lost to a fat guy that was later killed by average children. Warframes and their Tenno operators are basically gods, there's like 5 credible threats to them even in Warframe, the Grineer Queens, Parvos Granum, the Man in the Wall, Ballas/Narmer, Alad V, and Hunhow. and of those, we've kiled Ballas, crippled Narmer, Hunhow is trapped in an ocean on Uranus, Parvos is stuck in the Granum void, we've killed the stronger of the Queens, Alad dies and comes back on a by-monthly basis, so IDK what's really going on there, and the Man in the Wall literally gave us our powers for reasons totally unknown to us, and is probably unstoppable, so mark him as the last real threat, if he decides he cares. Any Tenno could probably destroy any planet's population entirely, they intentionally kept it weak in this fight to give the illusion on a chance.

They literally picked the most basic Warframe to fit the theme and to give Raiden a fighting chance. As people pointed out just some Warframe weapons can clap Raiden let alone some of the more bad ass Warframes. Also each Warframe is meant as a limiter and defence for a Tenno, a human adolescent who's powers don't have an upper ceiling.

Well, in that case, it should still be fine for you to watch Omni-Man vs Homelander, ‘cause for as far as the Story goes they only go as far as what has already been shown within Season 1 of the TV Show, while sure they still show images from the Comics, based on what I’ve seen and know about, i don’t those images really spoils anything Storywise at least, Death Battle really tried to avoid Spoilers as best as they could with their analysis, they are not that inconsiderate, heck they pretty much did the same thing for Demon Slayer in their Tanjiro vs Jonathan Episode, so i am pretty sure you don’t have to worry about anything regarding Omni-Man vs Homelander.

Excalibur winning was a pleasant surprise. And even if he did lose, the Tenno are immortal as long as they can transfer to another warframe, and there are 2 other variants of Excalibur. One being sentient and can act on his own will. And if Raiden went through one or 2 variants, the Tenno would wear him down until he was vulnerable. Also if Excalibur had viral on any of his weapons, the Raiden would have his total health halfed each time it’s procced. But I’m guessing they left out the mods and builds since you can make Excalibur virtually immortal in endgame content.

I'm not a fan of Warframe or Metal Gear and i never played those games. BUT, i played a game that Warframe grew up from, and that been Dark Sector. That was one of the games that i wanted to get back in the days when it came out. And so i did. I played it, had fun. All tho the game, by todays standarts have some bad quality. But back then, Dark Sector was a cool game, but failed and later turned in to Warframe. And would i like to play Metal Gear? Probably not, cause i have enough of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell and Devil May Cry. And so, if i wanted to play a Metal Gear, i would probably just play any of the Splinter Cell games. Hell, even Ghost Recon would do. Or, a Devil May Cry. By the way, i freaking LOVE the reboot by Ninja Theory. It is very edgy and with tons of F words and other cursed words, and that always makes me laugh. All tho i like all DMC games. Well, at least those that i played, and that been Dmc3, 4, 4 Special Edition and reboot. Anyway, cool fight tho. I was bored and just decided to watch this reaction.

The Glaxion doesn't cover the target in ice. It halts molecular movement, meaning that the Murasama loses its cutting power, turning it into a regular sword. And since the Glaxion halts molecular movement by dropping temperatures to absolute zero, it means that the Murasama becomes extremely fragile as well, making its attack power worthless.

The galaxion doesn't cover things in ice. It literally stops the movement of molecules, which meant that the Muramasa would stop vibrating. The ice effect is simply the result when molecular movement ceases, as the object reaches absolute zero temperatures.

This Death Battle was stupid. It's always one of two things with Death Battle: a complete mismatch, (like this one), or brain dead scaling. Sometimes it's both *cough* Kenshiro is thousands of times faster than Star Platinum, has moon level attack potency, has hundreds of meters of omni-directional attack radius, can regenerate limbs and organs without breaking a sweat, can use Gento Koken to negate durability and atomize opponents, can use Anryu Tenha to bend Space-Time and essentially send people to the Shadow Realm, can make people become completely paralyzed on an instinctual level if they try to attack him, can become completely invulnerable to all attacks with Musou Tensei, can fly, etc. A punchy boy who's faster than light and can stop time for a few seconds guarding an above average human doesn't stand a chance, and anyone who thinks there's any way Jotaro could have won is extremely ignorant. Saying Kenshiro can do hundreds of punches in a few seconds and walk through a building is the equivalent of saying Goku's faster than bullets and won a World Martial Arts Tournament. *cough*

They actually talk about the reason Excalibur won in their commentary vid after the fight and DE the creators of Warfame said they don't care who won they just wanted to see who would so even though it was sponsored there was a real chance that Raiden would win ablit very slim chance
