Sadly some countries' governments decide not to do anything about sex tourism because it is 'good' for their economy. Even some families introduce these children to monsters like this so they can earn money or even sell them making it look like an adoption so the child has no way out. It's terrible. I'd be suspicious of any language teacher who volunteers to go from poor country to poor country now. Most teachers decide to stay in only one country for several years and work at schools where they're never alone with the students, which is safer. Parents: never bring teachers at home for your kid to learn English unless you can be there watching them. It isn't worth it. I hope all victims of this piece of garbage can heal and find happiness despite of all the humiliation and pain they went through.

I think the problem with the legal system might be a global thing. Either because of shitty people like that judge or the way a law is written being used for some loophole or technicality. Or both. On slightly different note but still with the law; the topic of how shitty US police are, got me curious a bit ago and decided to do some light searching. At the time, which was a month ago so could've changed, every search for corrupt, brutal, or worst police force resulted with the congo. I don't know what is going on in the congo but i certainly wasn't expecting that.

This is why I disagree with the idea of "taking matters into your own hands" because what Nate's doing is just that, there's zero reason for him or anyone else to get involved and by calling the police saying you're going to be doing these things even if it's towards someone who DOES deserve it, the police will then be monitoring you 24/7 because now that they know you could do this stuff, they will be asking themselves "what's stopping him from doing this to someone who DOESN'T deserve it?" You're practically asking to get Big Brothered!
