Screw Attack has almost always been a division of Rooster Teeth, its one of the reasons why this is considered one of the most biased Death Battles since Yang is a character owned by the same company that owns them. Its kind of like if Marvel did Bugs Bunny vs Mickey Mouse and Mickey Mouse 'won', even if everything was legit it still reeks of bias since Marvel is owned by Disney.

Brandon Cobb The thing is, I doubt Rooster Teeth would care if Tifa was stronger. Yeah, ScrewAttack is owned by Rooster Teeth, but why would they care if an established character from the early 2000s (I think) is stronger than they're brand new character? It's not like Square Enix is their main competitor or rival or anything. If anything, I think (personal opinion here) that Rooster Teeth would want them to be honest with the results.

+RevenantSymphonyRequiem I mean there's constant cross promotion on RT's site...plus Volume 3 was a week from premiering when this came out...so optimum time to get some publicity, plus Barabara can't play her character dying and then play her completely fine again the next week. Death Battle's are often biased. Kratos VS Spawn for instance... But regardless I still wholeheartedly believe in a completely legit, objective fight Yang still would've won.

Yang's aura is just too durable. and she got blasted through THREE pillars, not just one, it takes less force, but hurts more, and the terminal velocity fall thing too. Tifa just didn't have enough to power to take Yang's Aura, whish she had to do before causing any REAL damage. I don't know, to me it seems if they take in the joke ability to survive an uppercaut into the sky for Yang, they also have to include surviving a (or several) Supernova(s) for Tifa, and I don't see how either has the damage output to top that, you'd need thousands of Yang and Tifa clones ganging up on her just to break one of her hairs if she can survive a Supernova.

Only problem is that wasn't a real supernova. It was a spell that LOOKED like a supernova, but really it didn't blow up anything but the characters.

Kyoko Sakura That's because it is a joke attack, not because it only looks like a Supernova. These types of attacks aren't meant to be illusions looking like Sun/Solar System/Galaxie/Universe shattering attacks, but only faking out, they actually do the damage and the fact that the Universe is fine afterwards is just part of the joke. If we take joke attacks serious however, it has to count. Especially since usually people who do use these types of attacks actually can do such damage (Disgaea demons for example do use such joke attacks as well but also sometimes destroy planets in the actual story, usually by accident), while the uppercut to the sky by no means indicates that the person doing the uppercut has any kind of outstanding physical abilities (it was for example often done by "Tsundere" characters in anime, even if they were otherwise depicted as normal people not stronger than average teenage humans)

I don't think Yang was trained by Qrow seeing that Qrow doesn't have the hand to hand combat capabilities, but Tai does, so I think Yang was actually trained by Tai. It makes sense. P.S. 2019

Yeah, there were a lot of Final Fantasy fans who were butthurt over this Death Battle. Mostly they were mad that Tifa didn't get better materia (even though SA gave Tifa materia she used in a Square Enix and thus canon game), and that they were using stats from Advent Children where she was weaker than in endgame FF7. Since its impossible to get usable "real world" stats from an RPG, I didn't mind that. Also SA gave her endgame gear, which is a lot better than they gave Cloud for his Death Battle. So, even though many FF fans disagree, I (a fan of both) thought they were pretty fair.

+Adversary Yeah, dust is used in lieu of gunpowder in ammunition (Ruby's sniper bullets), or raw dust is stored in bullet form for convenience (Weiss and Blake use this type of dust bullets), Yang's shells seem like a mix of the two in that dust is both propellant and the thing being propelled.
