I actually really liked Zach Snyder's version of "Watchmen". Sure, I will say that the original was better, but I felt that Snyder did the absolute he could with adapting it the best he could to the big screen. I even like the changed ending. I think it fits in a little better with how humanity needs to come together with not just New York being attacked, but many different cities around the globe. However, I do think that the upcoming HBO mini-series would probably be better due to the fact that it can include moments from the novel at a much better pace than in a movie adaptation. Hell, the visual comic on the Warner Brothers channel is about 6 hours long when fully measured.

When it comes to adapting something to the screen, the limitation of film will always require at least some changes to the souce material to ensure that a coherent movie can be feasible. It's when the changes are not dictated by the medium that I am angered.

Truth be told, the best adaptation of Moore's works and the only one he actually liked was for an episode of Justice League Unlimited. The only change, and a change Moore liked, was how the people of Krypton forgave Jor-El for his apocryphal predictions. Also, it wasn't some ancient snake god: it was a SOCK PUPPET made out to BE an ancient snake god, controlled by one of Rome's biggest Satirists. I think he chose it to be edgy and go against Christians at the time because Treebeard the Snake Wizard's always gotta stick it to Thatcher and Reagan even when both are dead. Especially Ditko AFTER his death because Fuck you, Alan.

I think _V for Vendetta_ is overrated. The original graphic novel was more of a dark, psychological thriller living in an Orwellian style dystopia. It had a lot of nuanced depictions of anarchy and fascism. And even Moore stated it would be insulting to the reader if you said, "Here's this anarchist, he's the good guy; and here are these fascists, they're the bad guys." The movie felt like an overblown Wachowski film with elements from the original source material. Not to say the movie was terrible, but it just felt completely simplified by comparison. I know I'm in the minority in this one since it's so widely praised, but I can't pretend to stifle my opinion in favor of the majority.

I know this was done a few months ago, but fuck it. 13:32 No you wouldn't see what Skinner eats or drinks after a few minutes since it would mix with his stomach acids. After all there are only like three other literary characters who's name start with M, right? 24:45 He is stabbing diagonally upward under the rib cage to try and get at her heart. Funnily enough bone is rather hard and resistant to a person trying to shove things through it.

To be honest, the final years of Sean Connery's acting career wasn't all that bad in terms of how many good films he had in comparison to the bad ones. Before LoXG, he did Entrapment and Finding Forrester, which are far better films. Even The Rock is a great film, the last good action flick of his career. And while turning down the other roles he is infamous for, I'm glad he did because I can't see anyone else in those roles, especially for Gandalf and Dumbledore.
