My biggest gripe on the Phantom Menace. Midichlorians. We didn't NEED the Force to explsined. It was just THERE and we, the early fans, who knew Han shot first, didn't need the song at Jabba's palace and loved the Yub Nub song, ACCEPTED it.

True, Phantom Menace was probably one of the last Star Wars films to combine practical effects with cgi. Now, Disney continues to cut cornera with effort by relying on the same green screen over and over. "I wanted a lightsaber battle, but not like this! You ruined it!" I still like the Sequel Trilogy though... but I was defending the Prequels a decade prior to all this! Yes, very flawed and all, which is why I kinda liked the Sequels more than the Prequels, but still, I just love Star Wars, no matter what. (Seriously, I have no idea what it'll take for me to hate it. Maybe bringing back the Vong? *Smashes table* Fuck!)

There's actually a story why blair witch 2 was awful, what happened was the director was trying to make a smart horror movie where people wonder if they are going crazy or if the blair witch is real. the channel Goodbadflicks did a pretty good video on it I'd recommend watching it.

I swear I'm one of the few people who will defend Phantom Menace and the Prequels to the very end. They're not that bad. Heck, some of the stuff in the Original Trilogy wasn't that good either, some of the acting moments were weird, some of the practical effects and masks have NOT aged well, (Greedo anyone?), and a lot of moments just look and feel kinda awkward.

Not to mention that the lightsaber battles and other action scenes were better in the Prequel Trilogy than they were in the Original. I don't care what anyone says, Obi Wan and Anakin's battle on Mustafar in Revenge Of The Sith is the best fight in the entire series. It was epic. Then they have their rematch on the Death Star in A New Hope, it was just two old men flailing their weapons around for a few minutes. You binge watch Episodes I thru III and than jump to A New Hope, the action in New Hope does not age well at all. Also agreed that even the Original Trilogy has had their share of flaws and silliness as well, mainly in Return Of The Jedi. So you're definitely not alone there.

ShadowL Drago The only SW movie I've seen all the way through was Phantom Menace, simply for the fact that Liam Neeson was in it. Granted, they killed his character off, but it could've been worse. I'm just one of those that never got into the series. Partly because, as you mentioned, it just felt awkward a lot of the time. Darth Vader, Yoda and Han Solo were interesting characters, but the rest... eh. Luke, in particular, was a big bag of "blah" for me.

I am there with you: The Prequels aren't that bad. They not only give us the story of Anakin Skywalker becoming Darth Vader (what's a better story than Luke's Way in the Original) but also the Rise of the Empire from the Republic thanks to a corrupted system. I know that a lot of persons hate the political talks, but I kind of expected a more complicated system and it's pretty interesting to see, how Palpatine disrupts the system from the shadows, even before Episode 1, when you read the books. The Empire has a much clearer system: Palpatine and Vader are so far above everybody else, that intreges from the inner empire are hardly possible except they try to bring down each other. The Rebellion is pretty lucky to earn this success, the conflict between the Republic and the Confederation aka the Jedi and Sith is much more interesting. Even though I don't like the rule of two by Darth Bane, Vader isn't even trying to take over the Sith. He is similar pathetic to Palpatine who broke the Rule of Two anyways, compared to former Sith like Malgus or even Bane.

Dear Renegades React...there's a big misconception on "Troll 2": IT'S NOT A SEQUEL TO TROLL! The original title was supposed to be "Goblins". MGM, the distribution company of this movie, asked the producers to change the title to cash in the money from the first movie. It's a thing that happened A LOT in Italy: Making mockbuster sequels of famous movies just for cash in money. They did it with Night of the Living Dead, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Evil Dead. If we were counting this as a sequel to Troll, then we should consider two Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3, two Evil Dead 3 and also Evil Dead 4 and Evil Dead 5! STOP CONSIDERING TROLL 2 A SEQUEL TO TROLL.
