SirJedi Sentinel In order to reach time travel speeds, we would need to exceed light speed. So, in theory, you could go back in time and move vast distances: thus, personally, I would travel back a long long time ago to a galaxy far, far away.

Fun fact: Toy Story 2 almost didn't exist. During production nearly all of the work was accidentally deleted and Disney (who was the Eisner empire at the time) refused to allow Pixar to push the release date. They were only saved due to the fact that Galyn Susman, the technical director who was working from home due to a newborn child, had saved backups of all assets on her computer.

24:20 Sadly, I was introduced to this twist via the scene parodying it in _Toy Story 2_ , so I never got to feel the same impact as these kids. I'll admit it was a decent dose of referential humour, but definitely *not* the best way to be introduced to that bit.

Nostalgia Critic is wrong about T2 keeping its plot twist secret. Sure, the teasers didn't tell you anything. But the first official trailer revealed that Patrick was the bad guy and Arnold the good guy. Nothing annoyed me more than that at the time. I wish I had been able to go into that theater and be surprised by that big twist. It wasn't Cameron's fault though, but the studio's.

I don't have a problem with the many endings of "Return of the King". It had to wrap up three long and epic movies and even in the book, they established the future of most of the main characters. They didn't even bring up the future of the Shire in the movies. And Movies like Star Wars Episode III did similar things to establish all important characters for Episode IV.

Really cool fact, in the first Godfather movie, there is a line: "In Sicily, women are more dangerous than shotguns." Well, in Godfather Part 2, we witness Vito's mother sacrificing herself in front of a shotgun to allow him to escape. And years later, Vito returned to get vengeance, giving more meaning and weight to that very line.

The main reason why people even consider the Bride of Frankenstein to better than the first movie is because the sequel seemed to focus more on the theme from the book. The story from the book is so much more complex and better than the movie, making you question who is the REAL monster in the story? It is by far one of my favorite fictional books because the portrayal of the creature is strangely so human. It may not know everything when it was created but it shows itself to be both intelligent and a capable learner. The first movie only made the creature evil and uncontrollable which kinda misrepresents what the book was trying to tell. The sequel fixed that by finally having the audience come to the question; is the creature truly the monster/villain in this story? Or is it a victim of violation against nature itself. Even in the book the creature becomes aware of what it is and it makes you feel absolutely sorry for it even more.

Winter Soldier i think would have earned a lower spot on the list and if not that maybe in the top 20. it was a huge improvement. the last crusade defiantly should have been in it and fairly high. if you count it as the man with no name trilogy then the Good the Bad and the Ugly should be on the list too. perhaps with that Sanjuro for a foreign film. fist full of dollars from the man with no name trilogy was based off Yojimbo.

Personally, I thought ALIENS should've been higher on that list, but that's just my preference because of how awesome I think that movie is. I've never seen any of the Godfather films (and don't foresee myself doing so), so I can't say anything about them, but other than that I pretty much agreed with everything Doug said. I think a tie for my favorite Sci-Fi/Action film (other than the original Star Wars trilogy, but those are in a category unto themselves for me, so they don't count) would be between Terminator 2 and ALIENS, with ALIENS beating it out by maybe a hair.
