Flash hider reduces horizontal recoil compensator reduces vertical and the muscle brake reduces in a 50/50. The vertical grip reduces vertical recoil and the angled grip allows you to aim faster. The laser only reduces the hip fire spread so only use it on shotguns (enemies can see your laser). For sights you pretty much have to pick whatever suits you my fav is holo sight because it feels more precise due to the small dot it has in the center although the border of it takes a lot of screen, the reflex is the opposite (borders are thins but the reticle is not that great), and the red dot is kind of a 50/50 it doesn't cover much of the screen and the reticle is bigger than the holo

Nick, I know it’s really tough getting into R6. But trust me, you pick it up fast, and it’s so fun. You don’t necessarily need to know everybody’s loadout and everything to play, it just helps, especially at higher levels. I don’t know what platform you have, but if you stream, I’d love to help teach you what different attachments do, how to set up loadout, recommend operators, etc.

All Nick needs to know is in siege as a new player just find what your comfortable with and master it. Easy ops to start with are the german ops and the sas ops. Their weapons are really good easy to control and have handy gadgets. As for attachments differant strokes for differant folks.

The University map is only in Ranked, and even then very rare and not covered in gas. And for terrorist hunt, the only mission type that has the gas is Bomb. If you change the matchmaking settings to not include bomb, then you won't have to deal with the gas. For most guns, i would recommend running a red dot or reflex sight, muzzle brake, and verticle grip until you can handle recoil well. And for operators, i would recommend Sledge on attack since he has an easy to control, well damaging rifle and an easy to use gadget, and Rook on defense since his armor plates passively help teammates and his MP5 is one of the best defense weapons to this day.

In order to not have the Article 5 map and want a different mode in T-hunt, go to settings and change T-hunt preferences. I have no idea how to beat Article 5 and I've been watching people play this game since beta and have been playing for more than a year already. For new players, simple operators are a good start (though idk which edition of Siege you bought so idk if you have the original 20 ops). For example, Sledge is a above-average attacker with a useful and straightforward gadget as well as a good load-out, having manageable recoil and decent damage. On defense you have Rook who's on the same boat as Sledge, but the mp5 will be your go to since it's the most consistent even with its nerf a couple seasons ago. Which ops do you have right now?

Article 5 isn‘t working because it‘s a Casual (Quickplay) match on Bartlett University. That wasn‘t a problem when Bartlett was still in the casual playlist, but it has been removed from it, which means you can only get matched with others specifically looking for Article 5. But nobody is looking for it because it‘s essentially Casual, which you are more likely to get a match on if you search for it. Also, Bartlett (arguably) isn‘t a very good map, so why play it? In the end, Article 5 is impossible to complete. Hence why speedruns stop before Article 5.
