Just clicks with both of my braincells Cold War is hella strong, but I always frogget to use amped weapons and the accuracy is just bad enough it almost always leaves enemy pilots at low health and with a good window of opportunity to run away or shoot you out of the air

I used the car for a while while I was learning the ropes. It’s very consistent and has a high damage output which makes it attractive to new and old players. I switched to L-Star recently as I like the sound effects and having to lead my shots is fun

thb i too used to hate on the full-auto hitscan guns in the game, yet today i view it diffrently. All non-hitscan weapons have a much steeper learning curve, yet if you master them, are going to be much more effective than the regular full auto user. Removing full auto would make game way too frustrating for beginners, prolly causing them to deinstall it. This is even more relevant, since there are bearly any new players to begin with. So while I too only used mastiff and just discovered the mozambique, i still think full auto hitscan guns are important to have. Maybe the orange shield could be removed tho, it literally just encourages camping on a rooftop

A gun I use often but NOBODY else uses is the Cold War. In all of my time playing I have seen 1, I repeat, ONE other person using the Cold War. And this was even in the Northstar Client lobbies, where you had every upgrade available to you immediately, yet nobody uses it. I understand why people don't, its a 12-shot, four round burst, projectile launching gun with a charge-up delay similar to the charge rifle. (I think that's what its called)

spitfire and tone are countered by fast movement (at least like 80kph or higher) or by ronin, which destroys tone shield with arc, and "unlocks" with phase, the most op weapons are monarch, car, mastiff, g2, smart pistol, spitfire (countered), tone is only annoying if you have turbo engine and can actually aim unlike most console players lol, kraber is technically op but only in a perfect world where you hit every shot, nice vid, you deserve more subscribers

I adore the EM-4 Cold War. It helped me use the movement more in firefights because it’s best when enemies are below you or against a solid surface. I also wouldn’t necessarily call Scorch the worst Titan, but he and Northstar are pretty situational. In smaller maps and confined spaces, Scorch dominates. Northstar thrives with larger and more open maps

I use the regular AR you start with because of two reasons 1. It’s a basic weapon that isn’t too good like the car but is reliable enough to use 2. It’s a gun that’s just an AR not some instant reload or heavy machine gun that looks like a assault rifle

The Car is the only blatantly overpowered weapon I will defend using. In a movement shooter not having to aim down sight, and being able to run an gun is very fun. It is still blatantly overpowered, but is fun for a different reason as well.

I play movement kraber. I'm bad at movement kraber. What this means is "I hit like 3-4 snipes per game and I'm proud of every single one!" Most of those snipes are jump-shot quick-scopes while going at mach jesus, drive-by no-scopes while going at mach jesus, snipes on ejecting pilots, or snipes while I'm ejecting! The loadout name is literally "MLG Montage". It's not about winning, it's about style points and people going "holy shit, what the hell was that!" when they see the kill cam.

I like to fuck around with the L-STAR and Hemlock if I feel like not playing seriously. And if I DO feel like playing seriously, I use the Alternator because of the low mag size, slow fire rate, and slower-ish reload speed. It’s rare for me to switch to the CAR, but when I do, it’s out of pure spite. As for titans, I almost exclusively play Ronin since he’s the only one I’m actually good at, but if the map calls for it and my team can support me, Northstar is something I’d be willing to switch to.

I came back to tf2 2 weeks ago and noticing almost everyone was using the same “easy” weapon. So I challenge myself to only commit to the leaver even though my aim is terrible and my movement is far from optimal. It was surprisingly a really fun experience and now the kraber has become my most used weapon in the game with 1000 pilot kills (by the miracle of god). It is definitely challenging and I still miss most of my shots but I feel like I’m becoming better and actually earning my kills (not just holding 1 button)

EPG, Mastiff, Volt, Double-Take, Devotion and the Mozambique are probably my favorite guns out of any shooter. As "bad" as they are they are a ton of fun especially once you learn how they can be used in different situations. If you wanna have some fun (and make everyone seethe) try Mozambique + extended mag + gunrunner. I've wiped out whole teams with that combo on smaller maps.

Ronin can dodge or block your rockets and take down your shield, an Ion can literally just keep charging you and pickup all your rockets and throw them back at you, even with a tone shield the Ion can realistically just walk right through it while not even losing 1 health segment because of how bad the primary is

Controversial opinion, but I don’t get why people don’t like tone. Tone can’t do ANY damage without the rockets and all you have to do is count the tones shots and once they hit 3, shield their rockets because no tone main will actually have any patience with them. The only titan tone actually counters is monarch imo because monarch lacks a proper way to block / dodge the rockets, the rest would bully a tone if pilots understood how to counter a tone. Ion: just literally sprint at tone if the wall is done to get her away from the wall and vortex the rockets for a split second when she shoots, ez win Scorch: same thing as ion, but you can also bounce barrels around the shield with or without walls. Like don’t even bother worrying about the normal tone cannon shots, they can’t hurt you. Northstar: this one is interesting. Realistically I don’t think a northstar should be “fighting” anyone but instead kinda sit back and wait for great shots. Honestly bait tone away from the wall and if she doesn’t leave the wall don’t engage, win win. Ronin: easiest win. I shouldn’t need to explain but ronin counters everything tone can do. Wall? Use arc slash. Rockets? Teleport or sword block. Tones running away because they know they have no chance? Chase them down and shotgun them. Legion: same logic as ion and scorch except you want to make sure you use your shield once their wall is gone. Even then shooting through the wall is fine with legion as long as he’s not in long range mode because it will eat too much ammo. Monarch: womp womp. Use a northstar approach tbh. The optimal way to play monarch is just sitting back until opportunity strikes with a battery, so don’t engage if they know you’re there and have a wall. Monarch zap goes crazy for stunning though.

People will use whatever they're comfortable with, especially if their new, and usually keep that weapon. Frothy would argue all is fair in the game because the point is to win and it's your lack of skill in being able to counter these players. Your ability is about adaptation and how to gain advantage. Even if it becomes increasingly frustrating. I started using flatline because of it's side to side recoil. You mostly have to ADS to hit anything that's not directly in front of you and even then RNG can get you. Face-off with anyone using most weapons usually results in respawn. But it hits hard, has surprisingly good range and accuracy ADS if you learn it's nuance, and reload is pretty quick. After Gen 100, I decided to play with the Spitfire to have fun with those who run the usual, but still weild it like I use flatline, except no aim in close range is way more consistent. Also, I'm surprised you didn't talk about smart pistol users who also pilot legion. Auto aim all the time. They're even less fun to play with.
