@@ericjoseph4203 Because it's a consistency issue that's tanking the winrate. You can very easily not draw the 1 and 2 cost cards the entire deck is built on, then you lose. But when you do draw them it's a broken deck. Hence why they'll probably nerf it and realize that making keleseth 2.0 was a bad idea. Also Fiery war axe was nerfed even though warrior was weak. Insanely strong cards need to be nerfed regardless of how weak their class is. And when you consider that cool cat is a 1 mana body that casts like 1.5 wildfires which with bundling is easily worth 3.5 mana + it's a hero power upgrade where critical mass matters insanely and the druid deck can have +4 attack with just the cats vs +2 dmg in mage and the cat can be resurrected and free spirit can give your hp even more value you really can't deny how broken it is.

So why is he not putting frozen touch in the deck? seems like it would be a top performing card with so many minions, and its common so any ftp player can craft it. Also firelands portal is a terrible card, especially by 2023 standards. Could easily be replaced with something like stoneborn accuser and it would be an easy upgrade.

Death Knight decks are dirt cheap to construct. There is also the possibility people are disenchanting everything to make make one really good deck.

Trading does not shuffle your deck. It used to, but they changed it when they introduced the dredge mechanic so that it wouldn't interfere with it.

Is trump losing his mind? He said this deck doesn’t have big spells, but in the last game he had 2 forelands portals and a pyroblast. Those are quite large. Plus he discovered so many spells in so many games like arcane defenders. It doesn’t really matter of course, this deck is beyond hopeless even if he added arcane artificer.

It doesn’t feel like you can be “good” at hearthstone anymore. All the cards/decks are so good at what they do that like they’ll just win unless they have a bad matchup. And beyond that, any remotely non-optimized deck can’t beat practically anything outside of RNG falling in your favor. Idk if that’s all that different from how it used to be, but it sure feels like it.

And also sometimes blizzard just likes to print cards like frostwyrms fury which is just “remove your opponents ability to play.” Not auto win, but just a card that is pure frustration and anti-fun for half the players in a given game.

Hearthstone has basically always been like this. It's pretty easy to play most decks to maybe 80% effectiveness, which is what most players are capable of and do, but there is a little extra win% you can squeeze out as well as some particularly hard decks in certain metas that seperates the best players. Getting Legend for example is more a test of patience and dedication than of skill, being really good at the game only reduces the time it takes by a little.
