Pray for me please and for all of us who struggle and for all who don't see the love of Christ and God.

You make a lot of sense, Sir. I’m just not so sure about this Purgatory stuff. I will need to study up on it a bit more.

Thank you Ralph for this. I just talked to my priest yesterday asking why the church isn’t preparing the people. I don’t understand this! They don’t have to put them in panic mode but they need to know where we are biblically.

This is what I was trying to tell my grandkids this morning. Christianity is all about love!
@joolz57473 ай бұрын
I did this all throughout my grand children’s earlier years, but it matters most from their parents and their life they live. They’re older now and they’ve gone. There are different ways some more into this in some art. I did what I could but it’s frustrating because I would’ve love to do more. Enjoy what you’re doing now. God bless you.

It’s about announcing the Kerygma and evangelising, that is the mission of the church!

Hi Ralph, this is 100% correct, of course. But please know that my family does not listen to me when I say these things. I try to speak this to or act it out or talk to them about it. But they don’t want to listen to the preaching as they call it…ever. I cannot make anybody do any of this. I pray that they come in touch with other people that will help them see the light. And yes, the churches should be talking more about this but guess what these people don’t go to church anyway. So, even though we all know this, we can’t make people do anything, and even when we tell them, it’s up to the Holy Spirit and our prayer to have them eventually come close to the Lord. If you have other ideas, let me know please.🙏

Today, in England, the optional memorial of St. John Henry Newman. One of his greatest points, embodied by his own life, is that the most powerful truth of the Catholic faith is a life lived in accordance with the teaching of Christ presented and preserved by the Catholic Church. Know your faith, know your history, be able to articulate what and why you believe but above all be a living example that arguments and attacks cannot confute (i.e. 'prove false').

Prayer of St. Francis Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy. O Divine master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love; for it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Thank you for this message of clarity on a very important topic of today. My problem like many others is that we often forget what Faith means and doesn't mean, as defined by Christ and His Holy Church. I sometimes forget that my faith is not something I believe based on my efforts and reason alone. That kind of faith is natural and important because God created us with the ability to reason. Natural faith should be pursued in our search for truth because it leads us in the right direction, however, it never provides all the answers we need to have the peace and assurance we seek. Our natural faith helps to lead us to a Supernatural Faith. Jesus's message is clear to children (people not grounded in pride). The only path is Humility. The best definition I ever heard for humility is people grounded in Truth. Every humble heart is, by God's Design, seeking Jesus - The Truth. Jesus in His Words gave us a clear path and door to Faith which leads to Truth; it is found in His Church and received as a Supernatural Gift of the Holy Spirit - The sacrament of Baptism. The Church also teaches us that Jesus calls all people to Himself, and is the True Judge that knows all hearts so we can never find a reason to exclude anyone from God's Mercy.

If you want to get a small idea of Jesus' love for us, meditate on the passion everyday. The Holy Spirit will give you visual images of the absolute horror of what Christ did for us. I meditate on Jesus' passion everyday when I pray the rosary. It will help you spiritually to become stronger to resist sin.
