So Renfri is a ~7 point card, with an up to 10 point unconditional kill, another 8 point dmg and allows for high tempo (using your ability early). And can be combined with other abilities (ng reset leader ability, etc). … sure 13 points cost seems fair :/

Three month ago GN was the flavor of the season. Renfri is the flavor of the current season and probably for the next two. That’s fine for me. And don’t forget that two days into the new season the meta is far from settled. Currently everybody is testing the new cards and you face not much attack aside SK. This will probably change soon. And Renfri decks are not unbeatable. Most Renfri decks have not much damage and I can beat them regularly with my Firesworn list.

Cool games, as always. The power creep is getting pretty wild. The new cards play for so many points, it's kinda crazy. By the way, when you said you said 4 say within 20 seconds. I checked (because, of course, I did) and you only said 2. But I understand why you felt like it was more. The last sentence resembled the one I intentionally did at the beginning of this paragraph, which is "unpleasant" to English speakers' ears. And I put unpleasant between "" because it's not the same in every country. For example, Koreans are completely fine with redundancy within their sentences when they speak their native language (in fact, my Korean friends told me that being careful with that kind of thing is one of the many challenges they have to face while learning English). They can repeat someone's name 10 times in a 15 words sentence without anyone raising an eyebrow, for example. It's why I love languages so much. Any single one carries its country's philosophy, habits, and customs. It's fascinating. On a completely different topic, they still have not fixed the electricity issue in South Africa?! Good lord, it's taking a long time (seeing the situation, I understand it's not that easy but still)! I feel for you Thea, it must be quite annoying at this point. I'm with you!

I am super confused and maybe someone can help me figure out what happened. I was playing vs a Skellige Renfri deck as monsters. Round one they played Renfri and I hit it with a heatwave to ensure nothing brings it back then in round 3 they play another Renfri and I have no idea how.

Alternatively, you can run an even thinner version with 25 units + magic compass, not to mention Lippi so you can play renfri twice. :) Wouldn't of even thought of it if you hadn't done skellige though, till now have been NG Renfri with assire to play renfri twice.

Hi Thea, thanks for the deck! This deck, with a little modification, got me from LV 20 to pro rank within 3 days. These are three long but exciting days.. Thanks for this deck! My deck is this: decks/guides/339271 I played gwent in the beta test when there were still three rows and they allowed only 4 golden cards and 6 silver cards in a deck. I have recently been reading the witcher novel, and get back to gwent.
