One concept I love about Demon Slayer is the contrast between humans and demons. Notice how Kagaya and his family didn’t hesitate to sacrifice their lives to take down Muzan? Or how Rengoku didn’t hesitate to sacrifice himself to save the lives of other human beings. That’s the difference between demons and humans in this show. Although Muzan is undoubtedly the strongest being in the whole show’s universe for ages, he is still a coward that hides behind his army of demons for the fear of dying. He’s had only one close call in hundreds of years of existence yet still dwells on that instance to this very day. It shows how he is truly the most cowardice character in the whole anime as he cowers in fear of death being pretty much immortal while the demon slayers (humans) risk their fragile mortal lives to help other humans even if it means death. The amount of danger they put themselves through takes massive courage while these “impeccable” beings known as demons run in fear for their lives when they know they will die. That’s the beauty of this show. The humans embrace death as it is a natural thing that occurs while demons cling onto life and will do anything to avoid death.

I mean, Muzan is almost God like and was able to survive for about a thousand years. The game of life is to survive for as long as possible. Don't forget most demons were once humans often mistreated and disregarded by society, poor, sick and fragile. Something Tanjiro understood very well. Sure there is novelty on what the demon slayers did, but I cannot help and think that Muzan was a punishment from the gods, or perhaps a challenge for humans to overcome.

Even if Akaza was eating women, Douma's blood demon art and skills are way to powerful for him and his whole kit are the perfect counter to Akaza's blood demon art. Akaza can't detect Douma with his compass (Douma has no fighting spirit nor emotions) and Douma's BDA has enormous range, while Akaza needs to fight up-close to deliver damage. Overall, won't happen, and can't happen...

I forgot how much damage Rengoku managed to do. Without instant regen, Akaza would have lost early on. Whereas Kokushibo from what i can remember, barely if at all needed his instant regen.

@@Hysteriikk someone’s bothered by my opinion heh. I did watch it, I even read the manga so don’t try to tell me to “watch” anything. My point still stands as it is my opinion, it is not a respectable way of fighting. Probably one of the reasons Kyojuro wouldn’t become a Demon. One fights with honor and respect while the other doesn’t care. Even Kokushibo doesn’t fight like that.

My opinion is that the fight was annoying to me, no matter what anyone tries to “explain” to me, my opinion is not going to change heh.
