When you go in shikai you need to say the command and the name of zanpakuto ("roar", the command, and "zabimaru", zanpakuto's name in this case). For second stage you will say just bankai (it's not necessary the command in this case, but to achieve bankai, you need to learn the complete name of your zanpakuto. When he use just shikai, he knows that his zanpakuto is called zabimaru. After he learning his complete name, "hihiou zabimaru", he achieve bankai. Shikai: "roar, zabimaru". Bankai: you say: "bankai", and you can say the complete name of your zanpakuto if you want, because it's obvious that you know the complete name because you are able to use bankai.

Byakuya's lecture on difference between him and Renji was more noble and less cartoon villain like than in this dub. He said, the difference is in "character", not class. Comparing him to beast, and that a beast can't become a higher being, as long as he remains a beast. Also the dub treats Byakuya more like cartoon biggot, when in original his character is rooted in actual nobility.

@@NeonForceGetsuga You're free to draw that interpretation. But I think it is not quite on point with what his character is exploring. He is about holding himself to highest standards. Putting himself out as leader, for others to take examples out from. His arrogance isn't necessarily based on selfishness, it's more like byproduct of role that he plays. For argument against that, his fight against Zommari. It can be interpreted as heights of arrogance on display, but to my eyes it was all just him provocating the enemy to throw him off and take control over flow of battle. I mean, control was one of themes in the fight. The guy was about controlling whatever his eyes lays on. Also, you have to consider that Byakuya at that point had started to change away from being a noble robot who just follows rules, as consequence to Ichigo opening his eyes.

Just for the clarification, mastering Bankai allows to release shikai without calling the sword. As for Kido which Byakuya used, the higher the number the more powerful the spell is. So not all Kido are just basic attacks, some can be pretty powerful.

Lucky , bleach new anime update for you . According to the author , in the upcoming bleach anime , they will fix all the issues or plot holes that he couldn't close because of his health . And they may also adapt other light novels of bleach too like " We do not always love you " "Can't fear your own world " "Spirits are forever with you " Mainly the first one is more like confirmed to get adapted but the next two may get adaptation if the anime reception is good .
