Hello good video. I have used renko (4 bricks as the "trend" and 2 bricks for entries) for many years. Rather using bricks as the entry, I use price action with the bricks as a guide. In your example I would have entered on price action of lower highs.

9:33 I would enter on the close of the first brick and use the break of support and resistance to determine a point of entry. If you had entered on the close of the first brick the reversal brick would have stopped you out at break even if you were trailing your stoploss. A 200 exponential moving average or a trendline can help you identify the direction of the trend to take either a long position or a short position only.

You need a custom indicator for renko bricks. I think I found this one on FXBlue. For the expert I created my own custom renko calculations

Doing a 20 ema cross with 200 ma For direction might help this strategy for Renko trading. Take trades in direction of the trend.

I built the renko logic into my EA to test but if you use a reasonable quality indicator you should be able to use iCustom.

this strategy can be profitable by using daily close and lowering the pips number that will also increase the spread but using my formula that cost will always fall to 1% of account blnc...doesnt matter how high spread is !!!

You van easily improve this strategy by decreasing from 3 to 2 bricks for the entry, and to increase from 1 to 2 bricks for the exit, then you can run longer trends. Also is important to manage the SL in a way that is particular for each pair, also the pips should not be the same for all the pairs, you must try different setups

The problem with renko is that the bricks don't paint one at a time. You could have three bricks that measure two weeks of trading, followed by ten bricks that paint in 5 minutes, making it impossible to time trades based on Renko. Renko can be used for S/R identification, but you can't time trades on them.

I think the test is a little bit wrong most of the time I think people would have a ST and TP but you don’t have that . Because the way you exit the trade makes it look bad . Try using ST and TP . There another ways to improve this and make it better . I just want to say your testing there was not the best .

You're going into trades too late. Use a 10 EMA as an entrance signal and the 21 EMA to confirm your trend bias
