I have an incurable liver disease and instead of doing scary treatments to prolong life, I’ve been letting it slowly kill me due to fear and depression. This song inspired me to “focus on my power.” I’ll never be totally healed, but I have the power to at least slow down its progression. After hearing this song, it inspired me to call my doctor and schedule my treatments. Definitely will be blasting this song on my way. Thank you Ren ♥️ 🎵

My daughter has a chronic disease that will be fatal at some point. Its hard not to feel defeated when our bodies don't work the way they should. Good on you to move forward with treatment. My health is a wreck too (neurological disease and pancreas and liver problems) and I have been feeling like life has kicked the chit out of me for the last couple of years without a moments break. I am ok with the end drawing near but felt I lost the fire that makes life worth living for a while until just a few weeks ago. Some switch hit out of the blue and I felt it catch again and by chance stumbled into Ren's music right about that same time. It was cosmic synchronicity and I felt like I made a friend who understood just how I feel through his own experience with it all. So, I so relate to your post and how you spoke about this song and how it moves you. Kindred spirits all around and a connection through this music that is what life is all about, IMO. "Focus on your POWER" girl and make the best of what time we have left in this crazy existence. Take that little gift and run with it because you can live more in that time period than most do in their entire lifetime if your mind focuses on that power you have within. ​@@wcoasttiggerYes it is very easy to feel like hell when your own body fails and betrays you and you feel fate has dealt you a chit hand. I have always taken the road less traveled in life and paid in kind but this hit me when I was at my peak best and wiped me out 110% as people all around me just added to it by getting their own kicks in. I had never been taken so low and didn't think I would begin to feel like getting back up from it for a very long while. Just preferring to sadistically punish my own self and becoming a true glutton for punishment by my own hand. I don't know what caused the change because it came out of nowhere beginning from a series of dreams. Something was ignited within my soul and now I feel mentally ready and even hungry for round two even though my body is still disintegrating before my very eyes. Music has always played a huge part in my life and it has been a big part of this change too. I have stumbled into a few new artists that have really grabbed me lately but this artist here is something really special. His music is like ointment for the soul and it gives you the energy to carry on and desire to strive or live on. I hope your daughter finds something to give her that special encouragement to keep pushing even when the whole world seems to be pounding on you without remorse. That will be important in her struggles and it helps to have that inner strength that is inspired by music, art, and self expression. Having that is crucial to getting through the dark chapters and painful nights when you cannot sleep or find peace of mind because of the affliction you suffer from. Best wishes to you and to your daughter as well. I hope your days together are full of those special moments and memories that make it all worth the struggle we face here in this world.
