@SamSepiol-xh4om Жыл бұрын
@@ElectricHorseman66 agreed. I prefer the rawer stuff too. And if you've got the skills to be just as good without editing, you should avoid it. When I see the short clips Ren sometimes posts, where he sings part of older songs live, i always think, "why can't we get this as a full version"😄. He's got such a great voice and emotions hit much harder if they're unfiltered. He really doesn't need all this tech as longs as its not used as a stylistic device. The Freckled Angels album for example is unnecessary overedited. Thats sad. But its an old one and i hope his next non hiphop album will be rawer again. But LAF is also a completely different style than hi Ren or the tales and i think its good. Way better than lm4 or down on the beat imho.😃

The entire thing is interrupted autonomic nervous system, loss of blood flow to brain, heart struggling, faltering, the feeling unwell as "impending sense of doom" when you're about to go into hypovolemic or anaphylactic shock. Been there many times with MCAS. You can hear the squeaks which are common aura warning signs. Means nerves are shutting down. Someone is doing resuscitation, his heart is restarted, think he may have had defibrillators to get heart rate stabilised sound comes back and siren's are coming in louder and louder. which changes behaviour like your extremely drink and also releases a lot of the neurotransmitters in a "fight for your life" situation, so you're stupid, impaired, maybe not even fully conscious done blood is getting to your brain in stops and starts, and angry. And surrounded by people who kept your brain alive being an abusive arsehole. Takes a while to actuality even feel like you vice isn't slowed down to 0.75x and lower and you accent isn't yours and that you have no filter. And sometimes people let you go in this state, because you can say "fuck off I don't want treatment" while all the while you're coming to the surface level of thought every now and then. And one crash takes days to properly stabilise so guaranteed to crash again and need resus again. Can hear alarms from hospital monitoring equipment mixed in to the sound scape Dysautonomia means your body isn't able to maintain blood pressure/ pulse/ blood flow/ breathing regularity so you usually have a few more rounds of this and forced bedrest laying flat while body start to figure out how to keep the basic stuff running, then let's conscious parts of brain back in rather than caveman, and even then can't trust blood pressure at all if your typical medication has a slightly different composition.... or your so selfish you ate at a pub and had mozzarella cheese on a meat pizza, a Stella or half a glass of wine (guaranteed MCAS trigger for shock)

It's not featured in the music video but I want to take a second to highlight the art chosen for the single version of this song on Spotify and other apps, i.e. the two hands intertwined with each other. It is very clear that one arm and hand has been mirrored and edited to look as if it's two clasping each other: the wrinkles, age spots and tattoos are perfectly aligned and no human body is that symmetrical. Which is a perfect technique for highlighting the one difference, the ring finger, which has a wedding band on the "left hand" . Given the content of the song, and assuming it's a reflection of Ren's attitude, it is a fantastic visual metaphor for a singular person struggling with two opposed thought processes. One "married" to the status quo, the other losing faith in another person, the rap game, their personal mental health regime, whatever. That was a long winded way of saying the art was cool

Wow! This one hit me hard in the feels!! I can relate in this song so much. @RenMakesMusic thank you so much for putting your emotions and experiences into your art and making songs that people can relate to. It feels like you are a voice for those of us that are currently or have previously suffered (with health/mental health/addiction, abuse/trauma, grief/loss, etc) and no one notices or hears us because most of the time we only scream about what is wrong in our own heads and put on a mask for everyone around us to not bother them with whatever we are dealing with or going thru. You aren't afraid to be vulnerable and say things that might make some people uncomfortable. How can we get better if we can't talk about the negative stuff like being mad or losing faith in God/other people/the government/etc??? You are an amazing human and I wish you all the success in the world and can't wait for more people to start paying attention to your music! If not for you, man, there'd be so much less to look forward to for so many of us. You are doing real good in the world. I love you, Ren. I love this community that has grown around you. I love all your music. I wish you nothing but the greatest success as you continue forward. Thank you for this one. It's going straight onto my playlist.

I feel the darkness in the beat on this one and I like it. The lyrics hit for me, as someone who deals with chronic illness, as I know a lot of us do. Those high notes are crisp af too. Love seeing you experimenting with sounds. That's how you grow and evolve as an artist. Keep killing it, bro. 🖤🖤

After listening to this many many times something clicked in my mind. Your music has that affect on me. It's like your music has the ability to expand my consciousness in strange ways. I hope this doesn't sound too weird but seriously it does. I love the fact that you break boundaries. The perceived chaos in doing so eventually becomes reordered. I truly think your music is causing a paradigm shift. This track is easily in the top 3 for me.

Since the first day I discovered your music, that overwhelming sense of familiarity that I had never experienced before, it just keeps getting more unimaginably intense with each encounter. Ren, your music is so much more than that. It's an experience, each different song is like it's own unique world, each with it's own atmosphere, floods of feelings, emotions, epiphanies, an all out sensory orgasm for the soul. Your music, for me anyways, is stimulating in a way I've never experienced not even with those I'm closest to. It's like a hallucination, a portal that hurls me headfirst into whatever 'world' you're creating with your songs. I could spend forever lost in your music, basking in the closeness, the flood of dopamine that comes as a result of deeply connecting with another individual. The craziest thing is that I don't even know you. I have a personality disorder that prevents me from being able to experience things like this even with those I'm closest to. Somehow your music speaks to my soul. It's where I go to feel alive. To feel human. I have heard so many people talk about the ways that you have allowed them to feel whole, even to feel at all. I can't imagine how it must feel knowing that you've given so many souls purpose, acceptance, forgiveness. You're an angel in the flesh Ren, please don't ever stop sharing your beautiful gift with the world! Thank you for everything you do, thank you for all of the feels, and mostly thank you for being REAL, And staying TRUE I love you more than anyone else Ive never met lol

Dearest Ren, this song is so raw. I felt like you were laying your soul bare and I want to thank you for sharing the gift of your time, energy and talent with all of us. This song spoke to my heart. I have been at that low point of lost all faith due to chronic physical health and mental health issues including chronic pain. I relate to the isolation, sense of otherness and despair that you're conveying in this song. Please know that you are not alone. I see you. I hear you. Thanks to your music, I feel seen and heard. With this beautiful community of people who share a love of your art and music, I know I am not alone. You'll achieve #1.❤

Sorry, my English is not good enough for my comment. I will write it in German. Thank you, Ren. Your music shows me, that I'm not alone ☆♡☆

I tried to translate it for you. These songs are insane and speak so much from my soul. This one again, very much so. I have depression, an anxiety disorder, and a convoluted set of personality disorders. It's never been analyzed that closely. Since mid-June I am on medical leave because of the psyche and I hope to be quickly clear in the head to be able to participate again in daily life.

@@mariushauugis7324 listen the part when Ren sings "Burn the border, sons and daughters Law and order, crave disorder" then pop on Scars on Broadway - dictator (Daron from SOADs side project) and listen to him sing "war is coming, soldiers marching, god is falling, god is dying". Uncanny resemblance between those parts of each song

I really wish I could give you a hug. Never went through your physical health issues, but psychologically I connect with your lyrics. I've said so many of the same things that you've so eloquently expressed in your lyrics. The only difference is that when I express them people look at me like they're on a bad trip lol.
