@@Anorectic.Bumblebee naw mate...it's a whole different thing than that. Chronic pain and illness can be so isolating. It's hard for people who don't go through it to conceptualize the mental and physical toll. We have so many thoughts, some may lead to feeling so alone in this world. But, when we can find someone who feels the same things we are feeling, it feels less lonely. Humans need to feel understood. It isn't praising the pain, but it's nice and comforting when we can say, "I get it. And it effing sucks."

I’m a 67-year-old U.S. poet and progressive activist who has dealt with Lyme disease for over a decade, now mostly (not completely) recovered. I’m also a fan of Ren, esp Hi Ren. The feeling of being alone in it, is an extremely powerful feeling. I wonder how to change this feeling, transform it, could connecting with others who have health issues that lead to the feeling of aloneness. I feel , at times so deeply in my aloneness that my psyche feels attacked. Dante’s hell feels as if it has swept me up swirling around and spinning me. Or I swingg… and I feel as if I am Waiting for Godot. Neither good doors and a human saying it’s tough im in some new type of hell or purgatory can be experienced as a ‘we are visible to some’ we are alone while within a social media platform, for a moment we can hear another’s pain, isolation. Best way to characterize the human penchant for it. Because it's about control. Even if we're not in control, the assumption that some higher being is gives us comfort. Makes perfect sense when in our multi-thousand year history, the unknown often killed us. It's why I like science so much, because instead of thinking some other being, magic, multi-dimensional, alien or anything else has it all in the bag, it actually wants to know what in fact is going on. It seeks the unknown to know it, to better survive and thrive. It's the path of taking responsibility for existence instead of passing it on to a placeholder with no definition or parameters to be conclusive, which allows all gods to exist in a limbo of speculation to allude to some weird form of hope that things, even when they suck are actually planned. Heck, most brains think that even intentional evil done with purpose is better than pure chaos with no aim causing misery. Religion makes a lot of sense when you don't have information otherwise and are kept very fearful. Speaking as an ex-religious person, it's been fascinating to see my past thought trains and current ones in others regarding it.

OMG Endo sister!!!❤❤❤ It's such a horrible disease 😢 and it's beyond me how is possible that it touches so many women and yet is do difficult to diagnose (well, not difficult per se, it can be done in 30 minutes, but medical professionals just KNOW SH**T about diagnostic of it and they still have the audacity to tell you you are ok instead of just telling "sorry I'm not the best at doing ultrasounds for Endo, go see someone else") And so little research and only "treatment " (not really) are hormones that fuck up with our lives... It's just so beyond me how we are completely abandoned in this society. We only started to talk about this illness more in the last 2/3 years. When someone tells me I live in an equal rights world I just want to scream... Sorry for the rant😢 I've been in so much pain the last few days I didn't sleep much and I'm easily angry 😅 Yesterday I saw an article of a doctor saying that ou fatigue compares to that of a cancer patients after chemo... I would like the world to know that. I felt validated reading that being unable to get up from my bed. More of the time people think Endo is only painful period for 4/5 days a month, so why I'm so dramatic and why I don't work? Anyway... Hugs for you sisters!

Ren, your music is incredible. I love music, all types, but what you write has hit something deep in my core that nothing has touched in the same way. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in my late 20s. My symptoms are very similar to those experienced by people with Lyme Disease (both illnesses are often misdiagnosed as the other), and when I heard the words of my diagnosis, my world went dark. And just recently, Ive learned I may have been fighting undiagnosed ADHD too, to add to the cognitive mess. Your music has helped me crawl out of the blackness. It amazes me how with every song, depending upon the current mood, hits in so many different ways. The first time I saw the title of this song I knew it was significant for me…today after repeatedly listening with much pleasure, it touches me in such a deeper more empathetic way…I am trying to design a shirt with all of the specific lyrics that I connect with but I may have to do multiples. In all of the ways this music and this artist reaches each individual at pivotal moments in their lives leaves nothing more to explain about his prodigal existence. I can never again selfishly feel let down or lost in the chaos when I know Ren is my gift, our gift to the egoistic mind that can’t seem to remember that we are all one. It’s only a matter of time before the ego becomes a memory & Ren is one of the strongest that can take us there. So much love for us❤
