Welcome Back to the Renoise Jungle Dojo! 🥷
Sorry for those who've been waiting for this one. It took me a while to get around to finishing it off!
In this final part of my Renoise beginners series, I go from a 16-bar loop to a full track. Enjoy! 🥷 :)
Big shout out to everyone who continues to support my channel & especially to my Patreon subscribers! I love making these videos and I'm desperate to do this full time so I really appreciate it.✌️& ❤️

Great. Would love to see you do a techno track with Renoise because that's the best I've seen so far.

I've actually never made much techno but I'm going to do more House/UKG/Hip-hop etc this year and branch out a bit more :)

Your renoise videos are the best. Took another stab at it with your advice about numkey and shortcuts in mind and it has really opened up the program. Making music like this is so much fun.

Cheers mate! Glad you've been getting so much out of them. The numkey/shorcuts are essentail to the workflow :) It really feels much more like hardware for me now as I can produce almost entirely on my keyboard! ✌️😊

Do you have the full track uploaded on your channel?

No I don't think I ever uploaded it as It was really just a demo track to show everything in this series. I'll have a look back at the project as see if I can shoot you something over ✌️😊

Do you think I can apply these arrangement fundamentals to logic?
@groovining

Yes absolutly. I'm essentailly working in 16 bar sections and using that as the basis for where I put my fills & transitions. Its quite a common technique to work at 16 bar sections as DJs will often mix in 16 bar sections also or phrases. Some people will work in smaller or larger amounts which can help with different styles or genres. 😊✌️

@@groovining awesome! I think without any real prior knowledge besides house music I’ve been doing decent with my arrangements, but I’m always eager to learn/apply more ❤️

Yea there will definitly be a lot of similarilies between house and Dnb/jungle in terms of arranging. Some of the older dnb like 90s style is definitly closer to progressive house in the way its arranged with steadily building elements. Some of the more modern DnB is closer to Pop style arrangements with chorus, verse, bridge etc. The best thing to do with arranging is to keep pushing to finish tracks. You learn so much more in the last 25% of making a tune then the initial creative production phase. It's also the hardest part so a lot of people give up then but especially for arranging its great practise even if you never release the songs! 😊✌️
