The quick fill looks great but to save yourself heartache later on you should have the inlet into the tank at the highest point it can be. Your pump will be fighting the weight of the water as you are pumping. Food for thought.

@ryanstalcup7093 technically yes. But that's also normally if you look up the specific things. I didn't know about the 3d scanning of property's that he showed a few videos ago. And I only knew of the process shown in this one because of military history and a interest in mining techniques

@@ryanstalcup7093Yeah, most of the channels seem to think their viewers won't have the attention span to watch all of it in detail or don't want anything rough looking in their video.. they just snip with their fingers and it goes from old to new. Matt (and a few others of course) on the other hand, doesn't mind showing the ugly or boring processes the snap symbolises happening, no matter how niche it is and how few of his viewers might actually enjoy watching it. Somehow he manages to keep even those niche things funny, interesting and short enough for people not to mind or feeling the urge to skip - he's the perfect all-in-one package for everyone. 😂

FYI, that yellow line connected to the blasting cap isn’t det cord. It is non-electric shock tube aka non-el shock tube, basically a plastic straw coated with explosive powder. The electric spark from the igniter sends a spark down the tube and ignites the explosive chain of TNT and ammonium nitrate/fuel oil mixture. Good times!! That almost sounded like an MG42 firing off.

some of the charges may have got muted by the now dynamic flow of rock from the previous explosion, but even if the charges did not go, they are pretty much inert because 1) the initiator has been triggered and 2) the booster (that long yellow stick) has or has not been exploded. The thing about ANFO is it needs both the initiator and the booster to detonate. That's why the whole crew was so comfortable just plying with the pink dust pouring it into the buckets and down into the holes. It's a relatively safe product to work with. @@the48thronin60

Mat the sprayers on the back of the trailer that you want to make for spraying the roads all you need is two thread on caps for your upright pipes then cut a slot in the back of them for the water to spray out of. Can i say, to us viewers, this looks AWESOME. To this of us in Central Texas and more Matt and his own property, this is very emotional. Not alot of people understand how much actual emotion goes through what he is actually doing being behind a camera. He does the best he can capturing every detail we want at the highest scale. There is a lot of actual blood sweat and tears that go behind this. Thank you Matt and more importantly his family that is going through this.🎉🎉🎉

Oh man... THIS dynamite option is right up your alley. I've seen it done on Andrew Camaratta's YT channel and it was SO COOL. I was wondering if you'd end up going this route.

Great video! I just got a great idea for you watching the sunrise montage. The resort for sure needs a big viewing platform on a tower like the 45 meter tower from How Ridiculous! Great for the early birds and potential experiments ;)

Back in the 90s i had fun in a stainless steel engineering /fab shop , we built 6 or 7 explosive delivery trucks for the big British chemical company. Big tank for urea and a few smaller ones for the additives , fancy aluminium tailight bezels were even fabricated , i had to weld all the hydraulic fittings to go from one code to another for whatever reason , it was THAT involved. Great fun times in a great shop with great blokes.

When the resort is getting closer to being done and you’re not so stressed, you should build some mountain biking trails. I feel like that would bring it a lot more people in.

Dude, that cat is freaking adorable! I am a man. I love firearms, motorcycles, slot cars, beer and cats. I have ZERO shame admitting I like cats! What a great looking little cat! I have two brother cats that are 6.5 years old. I named them Evel F'n Knievel and Indiana MF'n Jones! The names are on their tags/chips, and registered with my local Vet. Love the videos dude! Keep up the great content! make that little cat a star!

You can try the water system on the trailer but fair warning you need a bypass valve so the water can go back into the tank and if you're not using the water from the pump because if not you'll get a high pressure buildup as long as it's not too much cuz it could bust the pipes we water gravel here at work and we got three water-wagon set up but we have a bypass hose when you flip the water off at runs into the tank it's electric nozzle on a ball valve so when it shuts off it starts pumping it back into the top of the tank but when you need it you can flip it the other direction starts pumping we need to go so it does not create pressure

I have seen a few blasts at a couple rock quarries in my area. I will never get over the intensity of them. Just watching an entire rock wall start collapsing and then a couple seconds later hearing and feeling the boom of the explosives.
