I too plan to renovate my childhood dollhouse , this video makes me happy! My dollhouse was hand made by my parents in secret , so many details they hand made for it, and surprised me on Christmas morning when I was 6 or 7 I think, it’s so special

That IS so special! Mine was also a Christmas gift from my mom but I was like 2 and destroyed it 🥲 She has gotten so much joy seeing me do this though and I bet it’ll bring your parents joy too 💕

I wish I had all this time to restore my dollhouse that was given to me by my Granddaughter. Her paternal Grandmother made it for her. My granddaughters girls are too young to play with the house, so she gave it to me to restore; when I’m gone I hope they’ll continue the tradition. ❤

Have to say I enjoyed this video, enjoyed some of your methodologies and philosophy on the doll house. Was that the flea market and bought an old dollhouse kit for $5. Can't wait to make it for my granddaughter using it mostly as a pattern and using better would then what came supplied! I like the frame project you did. And yes investing into dollhouse and it's accessories price is no limit on some things unbelievable this is supposed to be a hobby! But yet others have created such a market that only a few can touch! But do love their craftsmanship and artistry. Can you have everything in life so enjoy what you have do the best! I know what you mean by saying you should be doing something! Else! Tiny house building or doll house, making! Is a addiction!!! At least it is for me! Too me there's no better feeling! Or satisfaction then sitting back and saying! I made, that! Or did that! Lol. It also, is a source of therapy! Where, you can escape the real! World! And, let Fanasty be a real friend! The biggest, problem for me is all the decision making you have to do! And try to control the time you spend on what item or project some how I just find myself so consumed I just, keep adding and adding! As if I have no control of stopping! Lol. To I add formers, curtains! Bla,bla,

Thank you 💕 this is actually a dollhouse from a kit, from 1989. I wouldn’t know where to begin to build one from scratch, I’ve just been renovating what was already built. If you search 1989 Victorian dollhouse kit and scroll a little bit you should be able to find this exact one.
