I always imagined that the children's toys are Ophelias, either that Olive bought them in a misguided attempt to keep her distracted and not notice all the unusual happenings around the house, or since Ophelia is very much implied to not be of sound mind or at least a hypochondriac, the toys are a way to communicate that she has a delicate mental state and might need a dollhouse or a stuffed toy at night to make her feel safe and in control of her surroundings among the angry ghosts that haunt her all the time.

strangetown is my absolute fave basegame neighbourhood! it's just so insane. and the hacienda vibe is so right for this house. in my strangetown, that entire street is filled with hacienda/spanish-style housing. love the dungeon underneath the home,,, can't wait to see how she uses it

Yikes... this is a very creepy house, especially the basement. Opheila's room is probably the closest thing to 'normal' in this house. As for the children toys, maybe they are a memento of her parents - the only good thing to come out of her life. Now onto what I did. Olive is made into an evil witch in my hood, however... it's really debatable how much she wanted to be evil. In TS3, she has the Unlucky and Friendly traits. Maybe some unfortunate deaths happened when she was younger, and she had a 'then let me be evil' moment. Then... she fell into a trap she couldn't stop. And she also has a cat, which Neville/Nervous took in as his own when he took over the house. As for Ophelia, she wanted to get out of the insane house as much as she could. When she was old enough, she raced off to college with Johnny and never looked back. She also started perusing medicine to help heal people, to try and make up for all the evil her aunt committed.

Ophelia's bio definitely indicates that she has anxiety and she's a Virgo so the astro girlie in me is saying studying biology sounds perfect for her :D

YAAAAAS BIBI you did it AGAIN❤🎉 The home is STUNNING and the last bit cinematic at the end has been my fav so far🥹 I recently moved my gameplay to Strangetown and I’m so sad that we only have a few days to play with Ophelia & Olive. I got Ophelia to move to college since she didn’t seem to like the home and Olive has passed 😢 And of course she left her fortune to Nervous. You might benefit from Mootilda's default replacements of the floor edge tile. There's a plain white one that looks so good so i never feel the needs to add the floor edge pieces manually. Great reno as always! 🥰

I absolutely love the ending monologue! If they ever make books about The Sims and it's characters, you should be the prime author. I love the luxurious makeover that came with this home, I feel I'd come here, but never be able to leave.. sort of like Hotel California (totally wasn't humming it most of the time watching). It fits Olive's aesthetic perfectly! If you ever make a let's play for the Specter family, I'd love to somehow see Olive cheat death due to her close relationship with Him. 🪦 That way we can get a glimpse into her storyline, and her murderous tendencies.

I absolutely love your build and I love your interpretation of the story, but I'm wondering what's the name of the mod that gives you more freedom with moving objects, the mod where you move tables with the chairs attached to it like in newer games and the mod where you have much more storage on surface objects.

I'm glad you like the build! There's no mod for moving a table along with the chairs like in ts4 as far as I know, and the decorative slots depend on the object itself. Otherwise I use cheats (in the description) and shiftable everything mod modthesims.info/d/670142/shiftable-everything-move-any-object-up-and-down.html

hmm no, not really. I just use the boolProp allow45DegreeAngleOfRotation cheat and everything functions fine, the only issues I've noticed are some clipping and sims throwing a fit that they can't access the object if there's something blocking their path.
