100% agree. Living in a big building I think people just didn’t feel as comfortable parking on the street and navigation through a big building just to find our front door. Now they just pull up and park right in our yard and can make themselves at home.

Thank you, Kim and David. The place looks amazing. Every video I watch of you guys, just gets me more and more excited about my move to Vietnam. I have a favor to ask of you. No need to make a whole video dedicated to it, but when you pass street signs, could you just mention what they mean? Insee them in your videos and I'm just like....wtf is that saying? Yard looks amazing, bro. Besides the reveal at the end and the money scarf, the highlight was definitely the scaffold riding on the scooter. Straight skills!!!!
@TravelWithNala29 күн бұрын
Thanks! You’re going to have such a good time hear. I’ll be honest… I have no idea what those signs mean either 😂. I just know green means go and red means maybe go

Modern, elegant, and cozy-looking home! Congratulations!! Merry Christmas and Happy New .... House! One tip on white rocks, you should put a layer of plastic (any thick unused plastic bag, which the landscapers call a weed barrier) on top of the soil before laying down the white rocks. The plastic layer will keep rock from mixing with the soil so the rock will stay white in the long term. Secondly, the plastic layer will keep the weeds from popping up between the rocks.
@TravelWithNalaАй бұрын
Ohhhh good tip! We’ll look into that. Also the worms will stop spitting out the dirt all over the white rocks

The family scenes in this video felt really warm and it felt as though you've been there for so long already with how much fun everyone was having. We aren't going back to Vietnam until Jan 2026, just giving my daughter more time (24 hours on a plane with a 1 year old is not ideal 😂). Next trip we will be updating our hostel in Hoi An.

I've lived in Saigon a long time. The housing inventory is tempting. What are the best neighborhoods? We're considering a move to Danang, but concerned about the weather. Is it that bad during rainy season? We'll head there end of January, rent a villa and test it for a month.
@TravelWithNala29 күн бұрын
I think most foreigners will want to be in Son Trả or My An. It does rain quite a bit during the rainy season but tbh I don’t mind it at all. It’s rains stops and starts so it’s not like constant down pouring and the air is much cooler outside. I’ve only experienced one rainy season though so other years might be worse
