Ma'am you did your bricklaying wrong. They have to be staggered, not one on top of another, staggered makes the section stronger.. Your husband way is correct. You two certainly have a huge task to renovate that house... You should have brought toys, or a swing for the baby, give the baby an activity to do, it's boring just laying there looking at the sky, or sitting watching everyone.. .or, strap the child to your back more often while you work, facing outward so they have something to look at besides your back.
