@TomCollinsgirl, well, she HAS lived the life of (basically) a squatter when she was a kid growing up in NYC. They mention it in one of the videos on here. I don't think she said it any differently than anyone else on here who says that casting pop stars would ruin RENT. :P

@boardwaybeauty101 theres only so much you can fit in in a movie. they have time restraints and some of them didnt fit. they got the important ones at least that moves the story along;

BOY am I glad they didn't cast pop crap! It would have TOTALLY lost its integrity and actually it would have gone against Larson's main point... That was a really great feature, thanks :-)
