I'm a 59 years old biker, and since 2005 i've done much camping loading my Moto Guzzi California 2003 motorbike (shown in my avatar) with a tent and camping gear, so I totally understand your passion. I think your cooking and camping skills are very robust, but just a suggestion: next time you'll make carbonara pasta, don't boil the bacon with the other ingredients, roast it in the same iron thing you use to fry french toasts: the flavour will be more smokey, and the texture crunchier. Good work! Im sweating in New Zealand as you freeze in Japan. Today I was mostly working on my 2020 All wheel drive Hiace. I am half way through the project I have a false floor above the wheel arches, pull out drawers at the rear removable sections of flooring so I can use or store the rear seat. Roof rack and rear ladder fitted. I now need to connect my lithium battery to my dc charger and various wiring for lights and power plugs. I will get it out to the beaches soon for surfing and will drive it to the south island for winter snowboarding. Thanks for the tips and inspiration!

Watching your videos, I think "Wow! This guy really knows how to live.". I'd love to go car camping someday. Especially while playing Monster Hunter like this. I play lots of different weapons in Monster Hunter but barely touched the bow. I'll definitely be using the bow in Wilds, and would love to see you play Wilds when it comes out!

Almost 20 years ago, there was a brief period where I was living with my mother, brother, uncle, and grandparents in their house in the countryside at the top of big hill with huge lake at the bottom. I was in highschool and on Christmas break when it snowed real hard for nearly a week. We couldn't go anywhere that whole time because there was so much snow. I had just got Monster Hunter Freedom 2 (Portable 2nd in Japanese) and played the heck out of it while we were pretty much trapped in doors. You said you played that game too so I'm sure you remember the snowy mountain area and Pokke village. Well as you can imagine, the feeling you described of playing Iceborne with a snowy setting all around you both in the game and in real life; I experienced that exact same feeling. It was like the fantasy blended with reality. It was incredible, and even now about 18 years later, It is still one of my most special memories in my life. Being trapped in the snow with my family and my PSP...

I love Monster Hunter. I started with Monster Hunter 3 on the Wii. My favourite is probably MHGU (MHXX for Japanese players.) 3U and 4U comes close too. I like the older games more than the newer ones. The idea to play games like this on a long trip sounds very cozy.
