😂😂 since I’m Australian, I found it really odd to drive on the right hand side of the road and take a roundabout by entering on the right hand side ! Such an adjustment that was required 🥲🥲

@@travellingwithmaz I am in college right now. My classmate is a foreign student from Melbourne. He claims the wrong side of the road is the best side. It's what you grew up with I guess.

Yepp! I drive on the left hand side so adjusting was challenging !! But with anything, it becomes habit after a while! No right or wrong just different 😁😁

Great video Something most don't know is the travel insurance often don't cover Unless One is fully Licensed (for motorcycle) in ones own country. Just because Cambodia allows you to ride a 125 without a license doesn't mean you are covered by travel insurance. This would not be such an issue but road accidents are probably high on insurance payouts.

Agreed! We should have talked about this a little bit more so thank you for bringing that up! Based on personal experience driving up the roads, it is absolutely dangerous and there are ungravelled roads and pot holes everywhere. I just want everyone to have the knowledge to decide whether it is right for them and to always be prepared and careful when driving a motorbike!!

Oo that’s a bit of a challenging one to answer as I haven’t been to Siem reap recently (been 3 times before). I did do some research and there seems to be a guide for digital nomads living in Siem reap. It’s not as many compared to Thailand or Indonesia but on one Facebook group, there was around 400 members so quite small. larger vehicles can be scary on the national roads. they’ll overtake into oncoming traffic forcing you off into the dirt

I’ve had semi experiences with this and it definitely is scary. To be confident in making the right choices while driving a motorbike in a foreign country can be very intimidating and scary. The other thing I should have mentioned as well is that big rocks on the road can also shoot at you if big trucks/larger vehicles are going at increasing speeds on the road.
