It is fun to watch you improve the land each step of the way. Your respect for the forest is obvious & your care will pay off in greater privacy as well as a healthy corner of thecworld.

Congrats on the paid promotion! Also, it was cool seeing the new chipper type and the difference between it and the other. Learn alot from you guys! I bet the land is starting to get real gorgeous with fall coming. Here in the Arizona desert we still have to wait awhile lol

Yup, leaves are just starting to turn. Can't wait to see it in full fall colors! We got a discount for the chipper rental, but the only option KZbin gives is marking the video as "paid promotion".

We love watching your Vermont land clearing & home building adventures. One unrelated question: How’s the ORV 21RBS doing since the roof replacement?
@AdventurousWay3 жыл бұрын
Thanks David! The RV is doing great - I've been up on the roof a few times to check and it's all looking good. We've not yet decided what to do about solar yet, so for the time being I'm repurposing some of our rooftop panels as ground-deploy instead.

Hey Mat, I’m looking for some solar consultation, do you provide that service? Do you know of anyone reliable who does? Great job with the chipping mate 👊🏻

Yes, that's something I can help with. Drop us an email and we can discuss details: www.adventurousway.com/contact

I just unloaded the chips into the back of my truck which is lined with a tarp.
@AdventurousWay3 жыл бұрын
We were thinking of doing something similar. Did you put any boards up along the sides of the bed to help contain the chips? Also, how did you get the chips back out - just shoveled them or were you able to pull the whole tarp out?
@nevoyu3 жыл бұрын
@@AdventurousWay I just shovel it out until I can pull the tarp. That said a dump trailer works a lot better, but with only a si glue tractor and a truck I can understand why you don't have one. But since you guys are doing what your doing I highly recommend purchasing one.

As i'm watching this I was also thinking of some way to collect the chips in the bed of the pickup. 🤔 Perhaps I can rig up some kind of platform to elevate one of those square bags or a garbage pale to the chute. McGuyver time! 😁
