Just scrolling through YT after a week of hiking in the wilderness and what do I see? A review for the exact security camera i bought! I highly recommend Reolink stuff. It has never gone wrong as long as you install the cameras in appropriate places (read: where the solar panel can get enough light to keep the camera powered) There was a comment I found a while ago that explained how you can redirect the recordings to your own server. If that isn't covered in this video and if I can find it, i'll edit the comment with the instructions

I bought this and an Argus 2E. This one is definitely worth the extra dollars for the additional features. The only complaint is the siren is not loud enough.

Is it possible to make it a dog barking sound? And can you schedule the siren happening only at night time?

Does this need internet for it to work???

Does this camera not support RTSP? So it wouldn't work on MotionEye either? Otherwise it would be great for where you don't have power, like when you go camping.

Can this camera connect with a cellular connection?

Just get a Reolink DVR lol...unfortunately they only work with ReoLink cameras though. I inherited a 16 channel PoE DVR and just needed to buy the cameras.

Reolink Client on Windows is trash, Tried to use it and it would just randomly crash to a black screen about every 24 hours.

@@bradnoyes7955 Yeah, that's why I mentioned getting their DVR and not using the Windows client. It works great and provides 16 ports of PoE.

Lost me within the first minute. If it can’t make it through the night, it needs to be plugged in

Wireless and security(camera) isn't exactly compatible words. Wireless security utilities are just too easy to disable (wirelessly). Of course your average meth-head isn't going to go breaking in with wifi-jammer in backpack.
@davidreddick30163 жыл бұрын
You don't even need to do a wide spectrum jamming of the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands, a simple deauth attack is much easier to do and doesn't require any special hardware.
@jaketus3 жыл бұрын
@@davidreddick3016 True, though jamming most of the 2.4Ghz spectrum with simply bruteforce could be beneficial over deauth-attack, to block all other protocols using the same spectrum as well.
