I love that Merlo are used to do tree work a long time ago and I had one five had one of those then life would be so much easier
@dickjafo17332 жыл бұрын
Ive been doing this work for quite awhile, that is without a doubt the fastest Ive ever seen that many trees done, and you got two jobs done, that second one was amazingly fast, while rudimentary equipment and climber, all day just on that one tree if not a day and a a bit, then cleanup, WOW!!! The amount of weight that Merlo can handle is shocking, it's on the bucket list. Little , if any, lawn disturbance. Nice!
@bigbluram2 жыл бұрын
That looked like a half day job for my crew as well ! But we would grind stumps and haul grindings as well ! We have an altec 38-127 , 75 'terex bucket , t595 ctl and morbark m18r. I have had a lot of days where we end up dumping our 35yd chip truck 4 and 5 times as well as 3-4 tri axle grapple trucks of logs with 4 guys and a crane operator. I shoot for a daily minimum of $5k, some days its $12-15k and others its just $2500-3k but $5k is my target. If we are not making $1k + an hr while actually on the we underbid it .

It's really a machine made for frozen ground otherwise you could tear up someone's yard in a big hurry. Definitely a machine worth having because it has so many good points. 9 trees in a single day at two different sites. Wow.
@bigbluram2 жыл бұрын
Huh ? I take a 38 ton crane across wet yards all the time ! Just gotta lay down plywood and stay on the plyway to hell or u will sink outa sight
@randywilson6869 Жыл бұрын
I would rather have a yard tore up instead of a roof or climber. But just think of how many trees u will have to take down before u put a dime in your pocket. I do see why we are impressed but at the end of a year I think I would clear more with a 1 ton and dump trailer and a couple hands to drag brush. I could have done the first job easily in 2 days and the second one in the front yard would b easy with out a lift. To much money for a tree company

3/25/22; Reon, don't know what your investment is...probably the top in the residential, light commercial market for arborist tree felling in the whole USA...!! Wow! Extremely safe, efficient & fast. Great narration & production organization...having 6-7 other arborist on site to watch (in amazement) at incredible 'grab, articulate & spot placement' of heavy large segments of target tree...yup, wanna see more of your videos! August H. gotta be itchin' to get one..? His trees in Oregon art kinda tall...your trees don't seem as tall as his..not sure, just wondering as armchair viewing via GoPro camera eye etc.. But is their a height optimum for your green 'grabber' such that trees in Oregon, August H. area, would not be an ideal match for your size machine? Much enjoy watching your super efficient & safe machine (green grabber) remedy homeowners tree felling needs. Thanks & yes, do more videos on this modern machine.👍👍👍🛠😊🌳

@lindencamelback23053 ай бұрын
Just curious, and I am sure the answer is yes: When you remove valuable trees- Cedar, Walnuts, Oaks, etc. do you sell the wood or process it with a friend, etc. I assume any wood you harvest is yours, but I can understand an owner saying, "Hey, that's my wood."

That looks like an awesome piece of gear! I suppose the only downfall of that machine would be needing a lot of space to operate. Couldnt work around any overhead wires, and always needs a huge work area. But as long as you have space, this is by far the fastest tree wrecker
@elliotkramer99122 жыл бұрын
One would think… but I got to watch him run this in a really tight setup. It’s more space efficient than it looks. The outriggers are only 17’!
