LOVE fabric shavers. used to use them all the time when i worked in a second-hand clothing store and then bought one for myself. they work on pretty much any fabric but just a tip for anyone new to them, try to get your fabric on a flat surface before using it and hold the clothing item still if it's not rigid, and if it's a delicate fabric, be gentle with the shaver so you don't accidentally cut the fabric. nice circular motions as shown in this video worked best for me!

nice job organizing, Signe. I do love the look of the metal baskets, I have had some in the past - but be careful they tend to make scratches & marks on the surface of your shelf. Not so good.

Thank you for sharing and lol at your comments re: state of things before the re-org. I had the same thoughts when I looked at my own closet: "(fill in blank) is ruining the vibe" "who am I kidding? I should pack away all my going out pieces" A couple of suggestions: where you have the metal baskets, line the shelves with a paper or plastic (glue down) liner. It'll protect the laminate finish from scuffs. Gaffers tape is my preferred product for taping things to walls/ceilings/wood, instead of clear packing tape, as clear packing tape may break up when you try to remove, and also take off paint finish if left on for a long time. You are an inspiration as always. Now off to Ikea to shop for organizers and bits and bobs :)

I do a similar reorganization, I do wear my clothes in ‚not so good but okay’ condition now in the home office and I must separate my go to pieces, that I like to wear out of the house. It saves so much time everyday. I’m not so good in decluttering items that fit my plus size body and only not looking good anymore. I don’t want to look bad in the home office, but the ugly items does their job 😅

I tend to wonder if I'm some form of hoarder or if I just don't have a style! My wardrobe is so full of crap. Im lucky I don't have to rotate, I have space.. But I have so many items,. I struggle to be rid of the "what if.." clothes, or the clothes for the person I've tried to be, or would like to be but aren't (!). I have so much, yet strugglie to put things together, or not look a mess! I've tried to sell some items, but my clothes were from cheap stores to begin with.. What with ebay and PayPal fees, PayPal needing a trackable postage method (that people don't really want to pay for) it eats into margins and leaves nothing for me to make it worthwhile selling.. I've been a 6, 8 and now 10.. I'm getting older too, I'm in that phase of not wanting to look older than I am, or like I'm trying to be younger! I'm longing for a simple life! I need to get you round to sort it out for me! ♥ You always look put together and effortless xx

Try Poshmark for sales.... I struggle too with keeping things in my closet... but... recently I went through my wardrobe again I put items I wear on the right side and items I don’t wear as often on the left.... then the next week I put dressier items all on one side and casual on other .... I am a stay at home mom I do not need but one or two dressier items .. so I picked up all the pieces I am not reaching for in a plastic bend and now I can see what I have.. if it’s out of sight it’s out of mind! The more clothes the more overwhelming I am. Make it simple and you’ll find more ways to make outfits. 😎

I do have another steamer from a random brand (think the brand is called "Easy Care") that I actually like a bit better, but only because it can contain more water than the Steamery one. But they are both good :-)

It is so strange to be be so satisfied watching someone else organize their closet...and just interesting because you hang your blazers and button up shirt in the opposite direction I do. It makes me wonder if you're left handed or just different sense of what feels good? If you folded your clothes 'Kondmari' style you could fit much more in the drawers I believe.
