Hal0G0D· 14 years ago John Lewis was neither a criminal nor a race-baiter. His loving parents were sharecroppers in Pike County, Alabama where John picked cotton at the age of 4 in the blistering heat. He knew race relations were a major issue in this country, so he dedicated his life to make a difference... and he did his part. Race relations are still a major issue in this country because of people like you.

A true American hero who truly stood up for his convictions and beliefs . He set an outstanding example of bravery and dedication to the betterment of society. I think God gave him the extra time to witness the rise of the masses these past months , where people of all ages, colors and creeds, rose up against the social injustices that still exist today. It must have given him great comfort to know that his lifetime of dedication bore fruit in the coming together of everybody in support of the Black Lives Matter movement . Let’s pray that the BLM paves a path to truth and social justice in these most uncertain times. Wouldn’t it be something if BLM were the catalyst to true social justice for all . John Lewis ?
