As an USAFA alumni with a son and nephew as USAFA alumnus also, I think it is important to make a point about the Academy candidate appointment process. Before a candidate receives an APPOINTMENT from the service academy, the candidate must receive a POLITICAL NOMINATION. I guarantee the political process is rife with ethnic, race, and gender considerations.

At the service academies The Honor Code is “ We will not lie, steal, or cheat, nor tolerate among us anyone who does.” All three of the service academy superintendents could very well be guilty of quibbling when they said THEY have never selected a cadet based on CRT. THEY do not make the actual selections. However, people who work for them do. All three were under oath and apparently live under fear of the Secretary, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, and their service Chief of Staff. Our country has never been more vulnerable.

A vet here that served during war time decades ago. Just not seeing the military leadership today as it once was and meant to be in any way, shape, or form. The change for the worst is intentional and more than obvious. I do believe it can be restored, because to believe otherwise would be literally giving up on your country, AND giving disrespect to the brave people who fought and died for our country. Why that is so important is the fact that none of us would be here now, if that sacrifice wasn't made by all those great people. People who would want us all to NOT let our country go done the tubes for any reason.

point1: if you are in the military, you are gov property.#2 if you have a mental disability{ not knowing your gender} you should NOT be inducted.#3 if you get pregnant you should be discharged as that is using gov property against your contract.#4 Any cosmetic care for these medical conditions should not be the military's business and a discharge should be applied. it used to be this way.

Nobody has a right to serve in the Military. Nobody! What makes you people think the Military is an equal opportunity employer? It is very far from it - and for good reasons - let me cite a few. The Military uses prejudice regularly and consistently to deny citizens from joining for being too old or too young, too fat or too skinny, too tall or too short. Citizens are denied for having flat feet, or for missing or additional fingers." He went on to explain: "By the way, poor eyesight will disqualify you, as well as bad teeth. Malnourished? Drug addiction? Bad back? Criminal history? Low IQ? Anxiety? Phobias? Hearing damage? Six arms? Hear voices in your head? Self-identification as a Unicorn? Need a special access ramp for your wheelchair? Can't run the required course in the required time? Can't do the required number of push-ups? Not really a morning person? and refuse to get out of bed before noon? All can be legitimate reasons for denial. The Military has one job: Winning War. Anything else is a distraction and a liability. Did someone just scream, that isn't fair? War is VERY unfair, there are no exceptions made for being special or challenged or socially wonderful. YOU must change yourself to meet Military standards and not the other way around. I say again: You don't change the Military - you must change yourself. The Military is not about being fair, it is about taking advantage of others and about winning. The Military doesn't need to accommodate anyone with special issues. The Military needs to Win Wars and keep our Country safe - PERIOD! If any of your personal issues are a liability that detract from readiness, Thank you for applying and good luck in future endeavors.

This really is unsettling. Our Military upper echelon has decided that their instructors would teach this division of persons according to skin color to our troops. What in the world is going on? Their job is to take their soldiers & introduce them to structure, unity & how to defend all races in this country! How do we expect our military to coexist as a fighting force? A person can go to a Military Acadamy by a Appointment letter from a congressman or Senator, why are blacks not wanting to go to military Academies. It's not white people stopping them Wouldn't a Democrat Congress man write a letter to the Acadamy. for a Black man or woman. One thing that is not mentioned are Latino's, why are there not more Latino's than Blacks in the Academies, there are more Latinos in the USA than Blacks, as far as I know, there Are 90 all black Universities, in the USA. What kind of General encourages "Civil Discourse" under his command? That's insane to think about, why not just resign as the incompetent Leader you are? Because you are asking for your command to always be undermined. That's not how to successfully fight, as I can tell you I didn't want to run in the open while getting shot at with small arms, mortars and rpg's when my commander told me and I'd have liked to take him up on using civil discourse to avoid exposing myself to that. Guess what, my commander made the right command and we got the mission done....we won't if we, subordinates, are allowed to challenge every order.

Air Force and war fighter don't go together. Air Force and war fighting machine certainly don't go together. Air Force is the furthest from the war. Air Force is exactly that.... from the air.. today's current military is fucked. Marine Corps and certain Army units are the only quick reaction force currently combat ready. Navy ships are being retrofitted with inclusive heads. Under joey the military has spent more time in DEI training than in combat readiness.. besides, all our ammunition went to Ukraine...
