I've personally known 2 young men who committed suicide because they saw their drug addiction as something that their parents would be ashamed of. One was a student of mine, the other a longtime friend of my son's and someone who I loved and called son. I'd like to say that I have come to grips about their deaths, but I haven't. I'm crying now as I write this.

My daughter was suicidal. It was very painful for me as well. Truly I tell you energy healing works. It is as simple as turning on solfeggio frequencies when you go to bed at night and state what it is you wish to heal. It takes time, give it 3 to 6 months but you will begin to feel some relief within a few weeks. She told me she was super happy this Christmas. Now that is music to a mother's ears. Not mentioned, but the suicide rate has gone up substantially in the last 10 years. In much older, disabled people who had their pain meds taken away bc of the "opiod crisis ". Ironically, they now know it's the artificial, fake fentanyl that is killing the addicts and drug "1st time tryers". It's in every town and city. More deadlier than Pharmaceutical fentanyl is, and yet the government has not lifted the ban that all doctors had to follow or risk losing their licences. I know. I'm 68, have a 2 diseases and 1 disorder that cause chronic pain and there isn't a week that goes by where I don't think about suicide. However, I do qualify for physician assisted suicide, so one day I'll be doing it that way.

It is terrible not only because it does not go away, but it also keeps you from doing anything. We have reduced the pain drastically through diet changes, supplements, and the right medications for pain. Our problem was finding the right doctor, one who understood and specialized in this type of pain. Don't give up. You are not old enough to be hopeless. There are things that can help.

At a suicide workshop years before during, my addiction worker course, there was a young man who talked about his pain, the way he sees himself as apposed to the truth ( a very accomplished guitarist, song writer with a beautiful voice). He thought he was horrible and had attempted suicide 3 times at that point. We all gave positive feedback but despite 3 hrs of talking with this young man, we heard a couple of weeks later that he had been successful in taking his life. So sad, but once they are serious about it, it will happen. You must take every attempt seriously. It is NOT just an attention-getter, as many think it is. Talk to the person, talk talk talk. Maybe it will help, maybe it won't, but you have to try to reach them.

I disagree, I too suffer from depression and have attempted suicide on many occasions. It’s a life long illness that needs acknowledgment and proactive solutions for individuals. What works for one, may not work for the other. It is staying quiet that makes suicide the last great taboo. We need to open up those lines of communication, comfort and solace for sufferers. Keep ppl in the loop in where we are at. But, I too want my family and friends to feel free of responsible for my actions. It might happen some day and it might not. Am 60 now, and so many ways I’ve improved and other ways am still stuck. Please continue to reach out for help. You are valued and loved and can find the resources inside yourself to overcome. Remember, a healthy support system is critical, develop one, it takes time to find like minded ppl. Douglas Bloch on KZbin, has so many videos on coping. We shall over come. They know where we live, we order a pizza at least once a week. They know my son. But yesterday they 2hours and claimed they don't know where we live and our phone doesn't work. Yes phone does not work you know why. As we wait those 2 hours we are bombarded with pizza images. So if they told you they need more time to try one more thing that is harmless, think again. It involves starving and telling my ex to ignore us. We starved for 2 days when my son returned. It involves all the institutions in Canada to not treat right or serve us, plus various attempts to kidnap my son or me for more direct one on one torture These guys are so desperate they will do anything to us. Please understand that as you give them MORE TIME. It more time in a gas chamber I know you have been asked to ignore us until the date you agreed on. Boris Johnson even said "Plan B must continue". So more torture of a 10yr old has not only been directed by the British government, it has been insisted of. So on we go. I am sure more starving is coming in 2 days.
