This repaint was originally planned for November but the whole KZbin-COPPA-drama threw me a little back x.x
I'm still not really sure how to behave correctly but I guess we just have to wait till January. Until then, have fun watching :D
(PS: I have the feeling that I said 'honest' like a hundred times in this video. Drinking game anyone? xD)

Dollightful had the same issue with MSC darkening the colors she was using. I *believe* she used the watercolor pencils with water to bring the vibrancy up. Maybe it'll help?

She’s so pretty! You are so talented. Her color pallet is really beautiful. And I love her story. Speaking of the story, if KZbin doesn’t change too much in the coming months I would super duper appreciate it if you could upload captions for your videos. I’m hard of hearing and I really depend on captions for videos sometimes. I know it’s a lot of work and not everyone needs them. The auto generated captions work okay but they aren’t the best. They get a lot of words confused because of your pretty accent. I know it’s a big request but if you could please take in into consideration that would mean the world to me and others like me

@@Dolllynx You could also allow the community to add captions too? People can create them and you can check them and give them the okay and publish them. Then one person doesn't have to work on the whole thing, people can just do a little here or there, and they can add them in whatever language they speak. I've done it before and it's as simple as watching the video, typing them in and adjusting how long they show for, then pressing the save button, for end-users.

I love that you are so open to experimenting an that you show all your trials and errors in your videos! It can feel like on some channels that only the stuff that went right is shown, but as a doll artist, it's really helpful to see what other people go through and test out along the way to making their doll!

as someone else who has tried dyeing a MTM, the second i saw you bust out the RIT i went "oh no, honey, im so sorry................" those legs must be abs plastic cause they will NOT take dye!!!!! i've heard that sanding the joints a little to make room for paint helps prevent scratching, as well as using posca paint markers since they're such thin paint. some action figure collectors even seal joints with superglue! she turned out soooo cute regardless though!!!! beautiful as always :3

Kat Molk, the same here. Plus the vinyl only needs like 2 seconds to soak in a ton of dye, which then leaches back out and messes up you faceup.

I love the tattoos!! And eyes! If you want to use white pastel over dark, use Pan Pastels. I’ve witnessed it myself (and have some of them) They are apparently much more sturdy for joint work as well. But no points taken off! I ❤️ the Little Night Elf and her story.

I think the problem might be the chemical reaction between gouache/watercolors and the sealant. Perhaps acrylic paints could help to solve the disappearing of blushing?

MSC is like a multiply layer in PS, light colours will disappear (unless you're using stuff like acrylics etc which won't really react to the sealant), so it darkens all the colours you're using. If you want to use pastels for lighter colours on dark background, you'll need a lot more pigment and usually a lot more layers. Versuch einen Feuchtigkeitsgradienten in die Wolle zu bringen von naß zu trocken. Naß wird dann in die Farbe getunkt, über feucht sollte sich die Farbe langsam verteilen und trocken sollte ungefärbt bleiben. Soweit die Theorie... Außerdem kannst du noch versuchen die Wolle aufzuhängen, anstatt sie über den Topfrand zu legen. Habs selber nie versucht, alles bloß Theorie, angelehnt an physikalische Gesetze :P

That silk clay is quite hard to work with. its the best to use it in one piece and to use some water to make it rlly smoth. But all in all it's not the best clay for detailed things. I have a different company, the struggles stay the same i think.
