Repaint: Venetian Carnival Elaborate Masked Costume Monster High Art Doll

This is a video showing my process for creating a new faceup for a fashion doll. I go over prepping the doll, painting the face, and making clothing and accessories. I also detail creating your own custom cricut pieces.

Thank you so much! Trust me the only reason I make it look easy is the magic of editing! The underskirt had to be made twice because the first was too full, the overdress skirt and hip portions had to be remade 3 times, and I had to remake one sleeve! Most of the time I felt like I was working with a wing and a prayer.

Glad you found it helpful! Be very careful! Just a heads up I don't know how well that would work for a non velvet fabric and its definitely easier to make flocking from yarn. In this case it wasn't an option since I needed it to match the fabric I was using.

Thank you so much. Unfortunately the pattern is made by me combining multiple patterns together. When I release patterns I only do it for ones that are 100% my own. I do believe this one has the bodice and altered skirts of the DG Requiem Rococo one, sleeves from a SvBaryshevaOOAKDolls pattern, and under dickie thing is an altered blouse pattern from Moonlight Jewel's Sewing Vol.2 It was pretty easy to kit bash them together. @@LadyDynamiteCreates when you make a piece that is so intricately thought out, that has so many details that need to be fully observed, you just need to let it shine on its own, without any fanfare. a simple cheep turntable from amazon and a muted or plain paper background would be perfect. 30 seconds to a minute of seeing the full doll from all angles with close ups of the face-up, hair and clothing details would be perfect.
