It's interesting to see a scale model like this disassembled and then put back together. At least you don't pretend it's ruined like those Restore channels!

Exactly what I thought. And those restore channels they always deliberately damage the model first and pretend they found it somewhere in the junkyard.

Just a friendly tip, painting from the top down instead of the bottom up, is the better way to go as over spray has weight to it (even in paint booths) which makes it drop to the lower panels. It just gives you a smoother result in the end with less finishing.

I have a question. I am currently building a spraying booth, and I am trying to find an air filter for the fan so that the fan stays clean when I am painting. Do regular air filters work, like the rectangular ones?

Great result. Nice video. I mean that. But you would be better off with an LPH-80 from Iwata. More paint, in a fan pattern, always gives the best results. And with ease...! If the LPH-80 is too big, have a look at the Sparmax GP-850.
@TheScalemodelingChannel
@TheScalemodelingChannel 4 жыл бұрын
Looked them up. The LPH-80 would indeed be way to big for my needs. Could not find the GP-850 available in my area. Did find a Mr.Hobby PS-290 wich i'm going to give a try. Thanks for the tip
@telescopereplicator
@telescopereplicator 4 жыл бұрын

@@TheScalemodelingChannel The 190E 2.3-16v was only offered in a sort-of black tone, named Black-Blue metallic, and a similar, but less yellow-y silver tone, named Smoke Silver metallic. Codes for those two colours were 199 and 702. Champagne, while offered for the baseline 190E models, is too vibrant of a colour to match the real car of this customer.
