Hi, everyone. Thanks for watching this video. I want to let everyone know that I just launched a Patreon page for this channel. The link is in the video description. Patreon is a way for viewers of my videos to show their support for the work I do and gain access to behind the scenes updates from me. I just launched the Patreon page last month and I'm working on coming up with additional perks for Patrons. Let me know if you have any suggestions. Thank you and thanks for watching.
How about a video showing your face to patrons only.

Maybe some deep-dive videos into materials, techniques or your knowledge of mid-century furniture, especially brands to look for.
@loisbolton18002 жыл бұрын
I went & checked it out. This is the first time I have been interested in becoming a Patron. Sadly, I discovered Patreonage is outside of my budget. Nevertheless I wish you continued inspiring & rewarding success with your channel, which continues to inspire & reward my viewership. 💝
@jack81622 жыл бұрын
Maybe you could allow the patrons to purchase something you have restored every month, like an auction maybe.

Not only do you do incredible work, you have the most relaxing furniture flipping/refinishing/wood working channel on KZbin. Great ASMR that I sometimes play to fall asleep to. :)

Agreed. Him and Baumgartner Restoration are the two channels that make actually good repair videos with speech in it, otherwise I like channels that don't say much lol

Another beautiful piece. I watch quite a few refinishing channels but you are, by far, my favorite. I like that you explain what you're doing and don't feel the need to add distracting music as a filler. The silence helps the viewer to really focus on the work you're doing. I also love the end reveal where we can just stare at the entire finished piece, unadorned or staged. Keep up the amazing work!

As a beginning furniture restorer, in this and future videos, I'd love it if you could be more specific about the grit of sandpaper you use. I also really appreciate it when you show packages or mention specific brands of finishes, stains, etc. It helps guide my choices. Love your work!

Brilliant - obviously ! Such a basic table, but you made it look better than it did when new. That top is gorgeous. Thanks for sharing your skills and 'tips', and for your simple but engaging explanation of what you do.

It’s a beautiful, solid piece, and great job matching the legs and apron to the top. It looks like it was always a solid piece built out of walnut. Sidenote, I looked into using wood conditioner from a few vids back and got to use it on a current project with knotty variegated pine boards, and it worked like a charm to tone down the effect of the grain once stained. Thanks for all your tips 👍

I listen to books being read on KZbin to fall asleep at night- things like Herodotus and Julius Caesar's Gallic Commentaries. Your voice would be good for this, it is so calming. If you read books that are in the public domain, like the ones I mentioned, there wouldn't be any copyright issues. You might get a money stream going.
