Repair Broken Gibson Les Paul Headstock

A 2 year old who had beef with a Les Paul broke it's headstock after a rowdy argument about whether the Les Paul could in fact keep itself in tune. Needless to say the 2 year old got heated and knocked old Les on his head.

I have enjoyed your videos but this one is especially helpful because I own a 2003 Studio black w/ black pick guard. I really like this guitar it has that mojo that we all look for. I bought it do $350.00 with a broken headstock repair which i have no issues but I always wanted it to be a better quality finish repair. @5:15 it looks like you are just wiping the same Starbond Glue over the areas you sanded smooth after gluing them with the fine tip. Does the wiped on glue flow/smooth out on its own or when you sand it again, you have to sand out texture from wiping it on? @WoodesosGuitarMods

I have a all black 95 lp studio i did a whole refret an pickup swap on it , also sanded the neck on mine a little it was super beefy . but it plays an sounds great now though..

Those splines most of the time make no sense. That kind of break, where it’s like two dinner plates separating Shoving glue into the crack and clamping it down makes it stronger than it was originally

I really would appreciate your help with this, it's my son's Guitar, and I had just put it on the stand to start cleaning it, and knocked it over, causing a crack through both E string tuner holes, and around both sides, most of the way through, probably to the veneer on the face.
