Thanks. I'm having a similar problem right now, won't open from the outside, but then won't easily close anymore once opened. It's always nice to see there's a video out there, if only so I have some idea what to expect. Now I know I need a regular and a torx screwdriver.

sorry i was alone and at the end of broken wire/cable i just use a nut bolt. i put the cable in between nut and bolt

I had the same issue, for me it was the handle which was stuck with bo spring back effect due to the plastics being dry and brittle, had to open and stuff some flexible piece of plastic to push it back. Hope it os not too late for you
