Repair hack for hydraulic cylinder leak on batwing mower!

The dealer saved me 350 bucks on a repair option for the lift cylinder on my batwing mower.

you could also just repair the cylinder. no need for a whole new one.

I couldn’t find anyone around here to work on a small cylinder for less than a new one. I’ve never attempted it myself.

@@stringerbridgefarm3201 If you can install a line on a cylinder like that, you can rebuild it.. The seals would have been way cheaper than that line as well. It's always good to learn a new skill.

@stringerbridgefarm3201 cylinder repairs are probably one of the most satisfying repairs to perform. There is a lot of mystery for some as to how a hydraulic cylinder works but once you get brave enough to take one apart and see they are super simple.
