Every headphone company dispatched their product with a manufacturing fault. In case of headphones, it is more dominant. After 1 to 2 month usage their headphone jack stops working properly coz some wires lose their connection from jack. Same happened to me every time. But then after i decided to repair my headphones. I soldered its jack properly and it is almost a year passed and still they working properly

What I did was get one of those 3.5mm to 3.5mm extenders and cut it in half. Then solder the two cables together. Less frustration messing with the actual jack.

will it last long putting a hot glue? i was thinking placing it with a stick in center to straighthen the glue so it won't bend to affect the soldered wire anyways, thank you for the hot glue idea actually seems more ideal than covering it with only non sticky cover.

Soldering these tiny individual coated wires is such a massive pain in the ass. The lighter trick helped a lot! I got best results, when I scrape the burned polymer off the copper after the lighter with a blade.

i was 15 when i learn how to solder. Tho this is a bit easy to me, been fixing all my earphones for 4 years. My dad works as an electronic tech, i learned by watching. There's no such thing as Hard or Easy. It's either we learn it or not but it differs in every person if they say so i don't discriminate.

Melhor vídeo pra concertar fones de 4 fios (ou seja com microphone) tipo os da Apple e os headphones com microphone de atender chamadas! O único que consegui saber as cores correspondentes a cada pino de solda: Então vem na ordem: de cima pra baixo pq o cara fez de baixo pra cima então fica: verde,vermelho dourado e azul ou seja lado direito(verde) lado esquerdo( vermelho) terra( dourado) e microphone(azul).

@@firashidar510 at first no had to cut the cable going on each side earphones to correct the color. On mine its copper(brownish) with the apple grounds, then Blue(andriod)with green(apple wire)green(and) with red(apple wire) red(and) with green(apple wire)
