any thoughts on causes of a One Connect 'clicking' than spontaneously powering down... now, just clicking when the box is connected. yes, I suspect that 'replacing' the entire board will solve the problem... but so would buying a new TV. what were the symptoms that this 'failed' box presented with?

Hello, I have a 2018 Samsung Q8F Q55 TV screen that stopped working, the red light at the bottom of the screen was shining intermittently coinciding with a sound coming out of the box. I bought the replacement for another one conect and surprisely it happens the same thing, still not working . . . The solution is to forget about it and take the tv to the garbage

Have you had a problem where box and tv work but there is on screen error displaying issue with the cable itself. When you power tv you have access to the menu and can select apps like you tube and it work flawlessly. But if you exit the menu then the error is displayed and there is nothing you can do until you turn off the tv and power it on again.
