Repair shops around the Kansas City metro area filling up because of potholes

January's potholes are causing problems across the metro - and a profit for some. Thursday's rain both obscured and increased potholes around the metro. By Friday, the puddles disappeared to expose strings of potholes in large swatches of metro roads and highways. It's tough to avoid potholes and, therefore, tough to avoid a trip to the repair shop.
